During the holiday break, Aurora found herself staying with Draco and the Malfoys at their imposing mansion. Despite their distant familial connection, she was welcomed warmly, with Narcissa, Draco's mother, arranging a room for her near her brother, Lorenzo. The grandeur of the mansion's interior was undeniable, exuding opulence and wealth at every turn. There were plenty of paintings and candles across the walls. However, Aurora couldn't shake off a sense of discomfort amidst the dark, black hues that dominated the decor, casting an eerie ambiance over the lavish surroundings.

Aurora sat on the window, looking out over the Malfoy gardens, the view was beautiful, the gardens were grand; she knew they must have hundreds of Elves working for them. Draco had come back from college, he was excited to see Aurora. He always had long sleeve shirts, so the Death Eater tattoo never made an appearance, quite like Draco's father, who was still stuck in Azkiban.
She read her letter from Matteo:

Dear Aurora,

It's quite lonely without you here. I'm one of very few students that stayed behind this year.
I've been practicing spells, safe to say I'm still better than Tyler.

How are you? I hope the Malfoys are treating you well. If not - tell me and I'll rush to your rescue.
You don't have to send me a nude, but at least draw some boobies on the parchment. A good girlfriend can at least do that much.

Missing you like crazy!

With love,
The hotty with the body a.k.a. the guy with the 9 inch anaconda a.k.a. Matteo

Draco approached Aurora with a casual air, his signature confidence evident in his demeanour. "So, how are you?" he inquired, a faint smile gracing his lips, his platinum blonde hair sitting above his eyes. Aurora returned the smile, her expression brightening at his presence.

"Happy now that you're here," she replied warmly. Taking a seat on the couch, Draco gestured for her to join him, and she willingly obliged, nestling into his side comfortably. To Aurora, Draco was akin to a second brother, his presence reassuring and familiar. Lorenzo looked up to Draco, wanting to grow up to be just like him. However, the mood shifted when Draco spoke again, his tone serious and laden with concern.

"Aurora, you know I care for you. I'd even kill for you. But something's happened, and I need to talk to you," he began, his words prompting Aurora to sit up, her curiosity piqued. "What's wrong?" she inquired, her voice tinged with worry.

Taking a sip from his glass of whiskey, Draco continued, his gaze fixed on Aurora. "You," he sighed, "A little birdie told me that you've started seeing someone," he revealed, causing Aurora's eyes to widen in surprise. She hadn't anticipated her newfound relationship to be common knowledge, not even Ashley was aware of it.

Aurora's initial shock quickly turned to indignation as she processed Draco's words. "Have you been watching me?" she questioned, her voice tinged with anger. Draco remained composed, unfazed by her reaction. "I have my sources in the school. The walls in Hogwarts have eyes, and you haven't been that discreet, might I add," he responded matter-of-factly.

Frustrated and feeling her privacy violated, Aurora rose from her seat, her emotions palpable. "You had no right to do that, Draco. Why does no one understand what privacy means?" she retorted, her tone laced with frustration and hurt.

Draco's demeanour remained calm, his expression unchanged as he continued to address Aurora. "Aurora, you are sleeping with Matteo Riddle. This is serious. Do you understand?" he pressed, his tone firm but not unkind. Aurora sighed, her gaze drifting away momentarily. Undeterred, Draco pressed on. "He is dangerous. You better than anyone should know that," he emphasized, his concern evident in his voice.
