A Girl For Theo

It was a nice day at the park, as Flia tells Aladar and the others about what she learned about their new home so far and the creatures that live in it. Yar: "So that blasted Carnotaurus is here but in a place where it can't hurt us?" Flia: "That's what I was told." Plio: "Well at least the humans here will make sure we're safe." Neera: "Hmm... I never imagined that there could be creatures that could make stuff like the walls around us and other things..." Aladar: "Yeah, from what Nigel told me, the humans are on top of the food chain of this time." Zini: "It's no wonder why, they can make stuff that can contain beasts larger than them..." Suri: "Let's hope noun of the predators get out." Plio: "Don't worry Suri, if any of them do get out, the humans will know what to do, and it seems that all the other animals here seemed happy enough." said Plio, before the scene changes to show Triceratops Creek, home of Theo the Triceratops (voiced by Seth Rogen), who seems to be very unhappy at the moment, and Nigel went over to investigate. Nigel: "Hey Theo, what's the matter boy?, miss your rival?" Theo: "It's not that... I'm so lonely... what's the point of being top male... if there are no girls around..." Nigel: "Ah... I see now... yes... your kind did lived in big groups when I saw them in the wild... well in that case..." said Nigel, before he walks away, much to Theo's confusion. Theo: "Hey, where are you going?" Nigel: "Oh... off to get a date for ya." said Nigel, which made Theo even more confused as he was not sure what the zoologist meant by that. At the holding pens, Nigel was setting up the Time portal, when he sees Flia, Aladar, and Zini coming to the scene. Nigel: "What are you doing here?" Flia: "Well I wanted to see what you were up to." Aladar: "Same with me and Zini." Nigel: "Okay... but how did you get out of the enclosure?" Zini: "Well it was easy when you have thumbs." Nigel: "Oh... I should have guessed..." Zini: "Yeah, and we decided to do some exploring." Aladar: "Anyway... what are you doing?" Nigel: "Me?, well I'm attempting to go back in time to bring a mate for Theo of course." Flia: "You mean the Triceratops?" Nigel: "Correct, and I've set the Time Portal to take me to the time when the Dinosaurs were about to go extinct, but I need to be careful as I can't risk of running into my past self as I went there before." Flia: "You mean... the you from the past?" Nigel: "Right." Flia: "Mind if we tag along?" Nigel: "Sorry, but last thing I need is to rescue a Triceratops and one of the animals I already rescued." Flia: "Come on Nigel, you might find a Triceratops faster with my help." Aladar: "Yeah, I can help too." Nigel: "Well..." Zini: "What's the matter?, scared that we can do a better job?" Nigel: "Don't be silly, it's just that I never had animals helped me on my rescue missions before and... well... I don't know if it would work..." Flia: "We won't know unless we try." Nigel: "... Oh alright, but we need to do it before the meteor hits." Zini: "Right... this should be fun, and we're looking for a... um... what is a Triceratops again?" Nigel: "Uh... it's kinda like Emma, only with three horns and bigger." Zini: "Alright... let's go!" said Zini, before the group went into the portal and were now Montana, 65,000,000 BC, and now they begin their search for the Triceratops herd. That was when they hear the sound of some animals roaring at each other, and it wasn't long before they got to lake, but Nigel told them to hide. Nigel: "Keep a low profile... look over there..." said Nigel, as he sees his past self luring Theo into the Time portal, while a T-Rex, who was Terrence and Matilda's mom, roared before looking at the portal in confusion. Zini: "Whoa... did I just see... another Nigel?, how was that possible?" Nigel: "As I said before, we came to the time when I was doing my first mission, which was to rescue a T-Rex... and speaking of which, that T-Rex there is Terrence and Matilda's mom..." Flia: "Really?, then maybe we could..." Nigel: "I wish it were that simple... but if I do that... then I wouldn't have found Terrence and Matilda... and then they wouldn't exist... that shows that time travel can be dangerous if you're not careful..." Zini: "Hey look!, is that a Triceratops?" asked Zini, pointing at a young Triceratops that was around the same age as Theo and was female, but she was also injured. Nigel: "Yeah... and it's the young trike that the mother attacked before she went after Theo..." Aladar: "We gotta help her..." Nigel: "I couldn't agree more... I didn't get the chance to help her last time I was here... but now this is my chance, come on." said Nigel, before he walks over to the trike, who was surprised to see the sight of the human, along with Flia and Aladar. Flia: "Do not fear, we came to help ya." Aladar: "She's right, we'll get you help very soon." said Aladar, as Nigel sets up the time portal. Zini: "Uh... guys... I think we should hurry..." said Zini, as the injured female T-Rex was coming their way, before the Time portal was turned on, and Aladar helps the Triceratops get through the portal before he and the others went through, much to the predator's confusion. Back in the park, Nigel places the female Triceratops in the holding pens, but she soon gets transported to Theo's enclosure, and the male was happy to have a girlfriend at last. Of course the real trick was getting the female to like Theo, and the male was doing his best to win her heart, like showing off his thrill or using pick up lines, which all failed of course, and Theo was feeling sad again. It wasn't long before Emma came to the scene, much to Nigel's and the others surprise. Emma: "Honestly, if he thinks he'll get a girl with what he's doing, then he's hopeless." Aladar: "Emma?, what are you doing here." Nigel: "And how did you get out?" Emma: "Zini left the gate opened." said Emma, before everyone glares at the lemur. Zini: "Uh... it just slipped my mind...?" said Zini, before Emma went over to Theo. Emma: "Listen boy, if you think those pick up lines will get you a gal, then you're the silliest dinosaur I've ever met." Theo: "Please don't make fun of me... I'm feeling down enough already... who are you anyway?" Emma: "Name's Emma, and if you want, I can't give you some advice." Theo: "Well... I tried everything else... I got nothing else to lose..." Emma: "Listen... if you want to be that girl's mate, you first got to know her more, spend time with her and let her know more about you and stuff, and most of all, just be yourself." Theo: "Do you really think it'll work?" Emma: "It has been done before, so it's worth a shot." said Emma, before Theo slowly walked over to the female Triceratops, now named Dora (voiced by Anndi McAfee), who was eating until she noticed Theo coming to her. Theo: "Um... hello... I'm Theo... and uh... welcome to Prehistoric Park..." Dora: "Is that what this place is?, I thought it was called Triceratops Creek?" Theo: "It is... Triceratops Creek is a place in Prehistoric Park... and uh... I hope you like it here." Dora: "Yes, it seems nice, peaceful... at least when you're not hitting on me." said Dora, which made Theo blushing and felt embarrassed. Theo: "Yeah... sorry about that... I never tried to talk to a girl before... until you showed up, I was the only Triceratops around here." Dora: "Really?, that must have been lonely..." Theo: "Yeah... but I managed to get a rival out of a tractor." Dora: "A what?" Theo: "Right... uh... it's kind of like a machine with wheels that farmers used, and Bob redesigned it to look like a Triceratops for me to blow off steam." Dora: "What's a machine?... and what's a farmer for that matter?" Theo: "Uh... it's a long story... uh... guys... a little help." Emma: "Sorry young man, you're on your own on this one." said Emma with a chuckle. Nigel: "Don't worry though, you're doing great so far." said Nigel, trying to encourage the male Triceratops. Theo: "Uh... anyway... your name is Dora, right?" Dora: "Well that's what the people here call me now." Theo: "Well it's a nice name." Dora: "Thanks, so could you show me around here?" Theo: "Uh... sure, I can promise ya that you'll love it here." said Theo, as he and Dora walk away, leaving Nigel and the others at the fence. Zini: "Looks like our Triceratops friend has this covered now." Emma: "He just needed a little guidance." Nigel: "And with enough luck... we could have our first baby Triceratops in the future..." said Nigel, hoping for having the park it's first baby Triceratops.
