POV: Kadence

I was furious as I sat in the passenger seat of jude car, Roamn had rudely invited him and our other friends but Jude said it was okay that the more people the merrier I had said okay but I couldn't drop it! Who the fuck does Roman think he is trying ruin to always invite himself whenever he wants

We pulled up to the beach which was me and Jude spot that we would come to all the time just me and him talk about all the problems we have and He knows about my crush on Roman and my one-night stand

Yes even though Roman is my best friend since 4th grade, he doesn't know i'm gay and I don't want to ruin the strong friendship we have going on it's complicated with Roman that i never expected to happen

I just wish I could crumble those feelings I really wish I could

As we all got out the car, I look ahead and seen a few people around a bonfire that was burning, gray smoke rising in the air covering some of the dark blue sky in my view

Jude got the booze and we walked towards the group of people who welcomed us

They were Jude group of friends back at his old school

The hours went by and now it was midnight we learn more about Jude friends they were pretty chill and cool

When we got tired of talking they decide to put on some music and a few got up and dance with each other so did Daniel and Amir. I giggled as the dance which they didn't have no rhythm at all

I decided to get up and go for a walk and get some air so I slip away quietly and walking along the beach listening to the waves hitting against the shore line, the salty cool air hit against my skin making me shiver, and the sand underneath feeling warm and gritty as it goes between my toes

I sighed

"what's wrong Kadence" a familar came from behind me

"nothing Roman" I said not even looking behind me

"Then why did you leave Cuore mio  " he said his voice much closer

I felt as his chest was against my back

I sucked in a breathe

I didn't answer him the words couldn't come out of me

"Answer me Kadence" he growled I felt his chest rumble against his back

"I needed some air Roman, that's all" I breathe out shaakily letting out a breath i didn't know i was holding in

He hummed behind me

All of suddenly he grabbed my wrist making me face him

"Now I want you to answer another question that's been on my mind and you will answer Kadence" he delcared

"What is it?" I asked

"Who took your virginity? what girl you hooked up with that I didn't know about and when did that happened?" His expression was geuinely curious

I giggled

"No one you don't need to know Roman" I spoke

He furrowed his eyebrows frowning

"Come on Kadence i'm your best friends, i've been knowing since we were little, we tell each other everything. I told you about my first time and you even know the fucking girl! But I can't even know who you slept with that's not fair Kadence" he rasied his voice letting my wrist go backing up

It broke my heart that i couldn't tell my fucking best friend who i slept with because once I do every memory we every made and everything base on our friendship would be gone in seconds and nothing would be the same anymore and I couldn't let that go, it would break me competely and I know I wouldn't be able to handle that.

I already lost my mom this year, my dad is barely home, my brother is always working, and I don't want to lose Roman.

"I-I'm sorry Roman, I can't tell you I wish I could but I can't please trust me that one day I will sometime soon okay?" I said

I took his hand in mines looking at him

He had a hurt look on his face, He sighed. "Okay Kadence"

A small smile apppeared on my face as I thanked him and gave him a big old hugged telling him I will also make it up for making him sad

Which he said that I have to go to this party thats next week to make up to him

I pouted and he brust out into laughter as we walked back to the bonfire back to Daniel, Amir, Jude, and our new friends.
