21. Double invite.

Morning came through and the two roomates had to attend classes as usual. This particular morning they didn't exchange a lot of words as both of them felt a little awkward and unsure about last night's events. They did get ready almost at the same time though and met each other half way out of the door, arguing about who was going out first.

Finally they separated and Kaylee was glad to get rid of her roommate for a few hours, being around Danielle's presence was starting to feel intense. She was feeling intimidated by every little stare, every small comment, every flirtatious joke between them, and now the line between humour and actual flirting had become unclear.

After class, Kaylee decided to hit the library and spend the rest of her afternoon there hoping she wouldn't be disturbed but she was soon about to be spotted by her latest interest.

"I was hoping to catch you here." Lulu said while hovering over the girl with a flirtatious little smile.

"Yeah, I'm here most times than not."

"You and your roommate still not getting along hm? Is that why you're looking for excuses to stay away from your dorm?" Lulu tapped her nails against the books she was holding.

"Can we not talk about her? Let's just stick with the fact that I like studying" Kaylee signed and the other girl got the cue straight away.

"Sure, anything you want beautiful. May I join you for...a reading session? Or do you prefer solo?"

"Um, yeah okay. I just gotta warn you, I get pretty deep in the zone."

"That's alright, I'm okay with deep." Lulu smirked and exchanged a brief laugh with the brunette who didn't respond back. "I get like that too, actually.  Perhaps, not today though.."

"Why not?" Kaylee asked innocently diverting her attention to the black haired beauty pulling a chair and sitting next to her now.

"Because of your company. I might get a tad bit distracted." The girl flashed an attractive smile, and the brunette definitely caught onto the flirting going on and delivered the same energy.

"Hmm is that so?" She blushed slightly, enjoying the attention and the effect she had in the other girl.

The two girls got on with their studying in comfortable silence for an hour or so occasionally teasing and joking with one another before Lulu started scribbling something in her planner. Then she ripped the page off, fold it in half and passed it over to the brunette who curiously grasped the paper and brought it down on her lap to read it.

"Would you like to go on a valentine's date with me? Tick this box for yes, tick this box for no."

Kaylee laughed, the girl could simply ask her out right there and then but she decided to do it the old fashioned way. At least she appreciated the effort.

"My answer is yes." Kaylee leaned up to the girl's ear, who was sitting right next to her. "I'll go out with you." She said suggestively.

The black haired girl beamed with happiness and confidence, she closed her laptop and turned to the brunette. "Let's meet at 8pm, I'll text you the details later. Might wanna wear that same outfit you did last time. This time I promise I'll take full advantage of it."

Kaylee's cheeks flashed bright red, and she was at loss of words. She was generally good at flirting but the other girl was simply too straight forward at this point.

"I-I'll keep that in mind, see you at 8.."

A few hours passed and Kaylee finally decided to go back for some much needed rest. When she got in the room she heard the shower was on so she assumed Danielle was in there which gave her a minute or two to change into a more formal outfit and relax before her date. When the auburn came out of the bathroom her hair was wet, and a towel was hanging around her body which was slightly moist too. She greeted her roommate shortly with a nod of acknowledgement, ignoring the fact that Kaylee's eyes were following her around the room as if she was real life candy.

"Pick for me." Danielle's voice brought Kaylee back to her senses but she looked confused.

"Huh? Pick what?"

"Underwear.." the auburn held up two of her most revealing thongs one in blue colour and the other in burgundy.

Kaylee's eyes widened at the sight, and the pure fact that she was being exposed to the girl's intimate underwear made her tense up again. She has to stop doing that. Here she thought burgundy looked best on her roommate, but when she saw that blue that matched her mesmerising eye colour she had no doubt. It was like a match made in heaven.

"B-Blue.." Kaylee said hating the way her voice cracked and sounded so nervous.

"Thanks, dork." Danielle smirked without even meaning to and started slipping the blue underwear over her legs underneath the towel as if she was showing off, definitely getting the attention of a specific brunette.

Kaylee averted her eyes shyly, and grabbed her phone pretending not to stare but it was nearly damn impossible.

"You're welcome to borrow one of mine you know."

"Like I've said before I'm good. It's not really my style. Why are you insisting?"

"You'd impress what's her name.." Danielle acted as if she was thinking "that girl you're seeing."

"Hm, is that the only reason? I'm pretty sure I can impress her in other ways."

"Yeah, like what? And no maybes there's more to it." The auburn faced away, letting the towel drop to the floor dramatically giving the brunette a full on show of her bum wearing that specific underwear she had picked for her and then slipping on a matchung blue bra.

Kaylee looked away once again, in utter embarrassment of how much she actually enjoyed seeing her roommate like that even if she denied it to herself "that's for her to know, what happens behind closed doors stays behind closed doors.."

"Look at you trying to play it all mysterious. Come on, just tell me. What do you do to them, Bryant? Perhaps, you use that mouth of yours for something rather than talking back?"

"Something like that.." the brunette got off her bed to utilize the bathroom since it was now free, and at the same time to avoid this conversation altogether.

In the middle of doing her make up, she spotted Danielle who was now dressed up in a white buttoned up shirt, a red leather jacket that matched her red lipstick looking at her while leaning on the door frame with her arms crossed, looking like some type of model.

"I'm going out for some drinks with friends from the art club to celebrate our submissions. I thought you should come since you practically helped me out with the project. What do you say?"

"I...I am going on a date but thanks for the invite, I guess.." the brunette's voice trembled giving away the fact that she eas enjoying what she was seeing.

"She doesn't miss a chance, does she? Make sure at least this time she actually walks you back to your room and doesn't leave you drunk and stranded in a bathroom. I can't promise I'll be nice this time around if I catch you out."
