(I don't own the song included.)

The sound of the bell made you jump from your thoughts, before you stood up with the rest of the class, grabbed your things and ran from the room to meet Cronus by the lockers, where you usually went after class. Your eyebrows raised in question, not seeing him anywhere. Suddenly, arms wrapped around your waist and lifted you from the ground.

You squeal when you are spun the opposite direction, and thrown onto the person's shoulder, so you were facing their back and pants. You can tell just by seeing the bottom of his shirt, and his gray jeans, that it was Cronus. You do your best to ignore the fact that his well-rounded ass, which you half fail at, and pinch his side, making him let out a yelp.

"Hey! Wvhat wvas that for?"

"Ohhh, I don't know. Maybe it was for picking me up in the middle of the hallway in front of everyone. But, you know, I might be wrong." You said sarcastically, rolling your eyes afterward.

He sighed jokingly, a small chuckle escaping his lips, "Wvell, you don't havwe ta' be like that. Anywvay, wvhat's cookin' good lookin'?" You blush, folding your arms over your chest, "Awve, are ya' blushin'?" He added, making your cheeks' color deepen even more.

"S-shut up. And nothing is cooking, I was just on my way to math, which is also where we're supposed to be going, but you just walked by the classroom door so, I guess not.." You said, confused look on your face.

"Actually, there is somethin' cookin'; at the restaurant we're goin' ta'." Your eyebrows raised in question, wondering if you would get in trouble for leaving the school without permission. What are you thinking, you were definitely getting in trouble. You're bring carried over your best friend's shoulder, in the middle of the hallway, at one in the afternoon, to some dinner downtown.

You are going to be in so much trouble.

You hesitate to stop Cronus from taking you, "Cronus, we'll get in trouble for this." You start, but he didn't respond. You heard a door open and close, and you're suddenly lifted from his shoulder, and sat on the ground. You notice you were now standing in the school parking lot with Cronus, glaring up at him.

"Cro, can't we just wait until after school to go to this place? I don't want to get in trouble and-." You were about to continue, when suddenly, you were swept of your feet once again, but this time one of his arms was placed on der your knees, the other under your back; bridal style.

Before you had time to protest, he began to run to where ever his car is parked. Once he found it, he unlocked the passenger door, opened it with his foot, before sitting you in the seat. He then ran to the drivers side and stared the engine.

You quickly test to see if the door is locked, and it is, so you can't run back inside last minute. You turn to see Cronus smirking at you, as you glare at him. "You're aware that this is kind of kid napping, right?" He shrugged, before backing up the car, and driving away from the school.

There was awkward silence for a few minutes, the radio playing quietly in the background playing some random country song. Then, that song ended, faded out, and a song you knew like the back of your hand, and loved. Your hand shot to turn up the volume, but as you did a hand over lapped your own, making you look up at Cronus in shock.

His cheeks flushed a bit, but he kept his eyes on the road, letting go, and mumbling an apology. You are quickly brought out of your embarrassment, when you hear the singing start, and you hurriedly turn up the volume.

"Baby, when I met you there was peace unknown," You heard the voice through the radio, but also from beside you. You look back at Cronus, to see him singing along quietly. Your eyes widened in shock, before a large, goofy smile made its way onto your face. You let him sing his part, waiting excitedly. "I set out to get you with a fine tooth comb, I was soft inside, there was something going on. You-"

He was just about to start singing the next part, when you started singing with him, making him stop, as his eyes widen as wide as your own did just a few moment before. He looked around, before pulling over to the side of the road, and looking over at you, while you continue to sing the lyrics. "You do something to me that I can't explain," You sung with a grin, your eyes never leaving his.

He started singing with you, a grin surfacing on his cheeks as well, "Hold me closer and I feel no pain! Every beat of my heart; we got something going on."

"Tender love is blind; it requires a dedication, all this love we feel needs no conversation."

"We can ride it together, ah-ha, in love with each other, ah-ha. Islands in the stream, that is what we are. No one in between, how can we be wrong? Sail away with me, to another world. And we rely on each other, ah-ha. From one lover to another, ah-ha."

"I can't live without you, if the love was gone. Everything is nothing, if you got no one! And you did walk in the night, slowly losing sight of the real thing." He stopped singing to let you sing Dolly Parton's part on your own. Your shoulders sway to the beat, as you sung, and looked him directly in the eyes as you did.

"But that won't happen to us and we got no doubt, too deep in love and we got no way out! And the message is clear; this could be the year for the real thing." You sung together again, but he stopped again for the next part.

"No more will you cry, baby, I will hurt you never." Your eyes break, as you stare at his empty hand that sat in his lap. You reach out to grab it, and while you sing you stare into his eyes once again.

"We start and end as one
In love forever
We can ride it together, ah-ha
We're in love with each other, ah-ha,"

"Islands in the stream, that is what we are, no one in between, how can we be wrong? Sail away with me, to another world. And we rely on each other, ah-ha.
From one lover to another, ah-ha."

"Sail away." The song began to fade, but neither one of you really noticed, because you were both leaning closer, his hand clenching with your own. Finally, his lips met your own, and your eyes snapped closed, melting into the kiss.

It wasn't how you imagined it would be like; it was better. It's like your lips were made to be together; they molded perfectly with each other. You hand raised to his cheeks, the other grasping his shoulder, while one of his arms made its way around your waist.

By the time the two of you pulled away, another song had began to play but neither of you paid any attention to it. You stared into his eyes once again, a blush now rising to your cheeks.

You broke eye contact in embarrassment, "Okay, maybe leaving school early wasn't such a bad idea..." You mumble, your blush becoming deeper when he chuckled, before pulling your chin back up to kiss you again.
