Before you get into the story, I have some notices and warnings to make. If you don't feel like reading about the notices, at least make sure to read the warnings. And thank you for opening this book!
NOTICES
1. English is not my first lenguage. However, I have been speaking english for the past 15 years and am an English teacher here in my country, which is also where this story happens: Brazil. Having said that, this book is being written in portuguese, my native lenguage and then translated (by me). You can ask me my reasons or any other questions on my Tumblr, mikathewriter;
Still about the first topic, if you see any spelling mistakes, lines that might not make much sense or weird expressions, please comment on it so I can improve. I am fluent, but I still make mistakes;
2. This story is still being written. So obviously it's not beta read and I most definitely will end up changing one thing or another in the final version. But I wanted to post it here as a motivation to myself to write every single day, since I plan on posting bi-weekly;
3. ATOCD is not my main project, but I love it the same and am hoping it is a way of showing people my writing, before releasing other projects, so they are already familiar with me;
4. Please, please, please, comment on stuff you like, what your thoughts were while reading, etc. It motivates me more than the likes, and it's a way to know I'm going the right way. Even if you find this story way later, please comment if you feel like it, and do it as many times as you want. I guarantee you, every writer likes getting a load of comments on their work.
WARNINGS
1. ATOCD is a story that contains PTSD and mainly OCD. Intrusive thoughts are going to be addressed pretty often. While it is a lighter romance book, there will be mentions of things such as substance abuse, self-harm, suicide, mommy/daddy issues and other stuff that might be triggering. Before the chapter where these things are mentioned there will be a warning, though, so you're not caught off guard. Be safe;
2. Everyone in this story is over 18 years old, and there may be implications of sexual stuff and bad words.
