the shouts could barely be heard over kanna's thundering heartbeat. she clenched her sword tightly as she tried to hold herself steady as the ground thundered from what she assumed could be giants. trees were crushed around her on the ground, the only thing between her and the two giants were an endless array of corpses. mangled and half eaten, the smell of death potent on the ground, swirling around like a mist. 

both giants snicker to each other as they look down at the girl, who was all by herself. the one on the left, who was closest picks up his right leg. kanna quick on her feet scatters before the giant steps down, completely crushing the ground right where kanna used to be. 

"looky here rebecks a delicious meal." blunderbore smirked out looking down at kanna.

"kanna!" the voice that sounded like kuroo shouted out, quickly looking behind she saw the two boys and the guard, "the forcefield is down! use your magic!" kuroo looked disheveled as kanna stood there before rearing up and charging at the giants. throwing out a quick enchantment, kanna jumps up off the ground and runs up alongside the closest giant. the giant trying to grab her and spins around. 

the second giant tries getting closer to get her, kanna leaps out of the way and backflips onto the other giant, shouting out a spell, a couple rune circles could be seen as water shot out of them, bringing the one giant down. flipping herself in the air, she pencil dives down towards rebecks, her sword aimed to kill. her sword slices part of rebecks arm as she twists her body around to evade blunderbore. rebecks lets out a roar after the sword scraped against his arm, swinging around to throw kanna off. 

kanna flips out of the way and lands on the ground, a couple yards behind. her feet slides against the rough terrain as she tries to steady herself into a crouched position. her bloodied sword in the ground slightly to stop herself. kanna looks up to see the giants main focus on her, her hair swaying in the wind. ripping her sword from the ground, kanna shouts out in draconic. "shio lleisgar!" (all rise) once against the ground rumbles as the guard and knights a couple feet away try to balance themselves as some fall down. kanna looks at the two giants before dashing between their feet, making rebecks fall. making a quick kill, kanna swiftly teleports with her magic behind the fallen giant and slashes his throat. blood sprays as kanna has a wild mean look in her eye. 

protecting those she cares about in mind, kanna forgot about the other giant as she was quickly picked up by blunderbore. she lets out a strangled scream and blunderbore grips kanna tightly. her sword only lightly scraping against his hand. kanna struggles in blunderbore's grip as he brought her closer to him.
