"y/n" i shrieked catching her before she hit the floor "we got to go right now grover pick her up" annabeth directed me and so i did wrapping my arms around her picking her up bridal style before heading out of the train exit "why isn't it chasing us" percy asked making me frown cause i was missing y/n's snarky clap backs at percy "she said it was just hunting" annabeth answered "i think this is the hunting part" she added turning a heel walking away from the train

"we got to get her to somewhere" I panicked still carrying y/n "what about the tree over there" percy pointed to a tree with shade "it will do let's just go" annabeth shrugged as we all jog over

When we're finally at the tree i place y/n down "maybe theirs something in her bag that can help" annabeth suggested "maybe let me look" i answered searching through her bag looking for anything when i found a quartz shape as a heart

"found it" i cheered pulling it out then placing it on y/n chest  "is it working" percy asked confused on if it was or not "i don't think s-" golden flakes fell from above us cutting off annabeth as we all admire what was going on

"what happened?"

a groan came from y/n who sat up slowly rubbing her head as the quartz fell onto her lap "oh thank god your alive" i sighed in relief hugging her tightly "grover i cant breath" she whispered running out of air "sorry i'm just so happy your ali-" i got cut off by cars crashing "what was that" percy asked helping y/n up more as we all stood "echidna" annabeth whispered under her breath making my eyes widen "we have to go now" annabeth added as me and percy help y/n up

"can you walk" i asked her as she tried to balance herself "uh yeah i can" she replied not entirely sure "guys come on" annabeth hurried us along before stopping "did you guys hear that" she asks us as we just looked at her confused "never mind" she brushed it off as we continued walking to the ports that will take us to the top of the arch

Y/n still looked kinda of dead which worried me "y/n are you sure your okay" i asked worried about what could happen if she wasn't "yes grove i promise" she rubbed my hand reassuring me

"wait is that" percy asked looking outside as the door closed slowly "no it can't be isn't this a safe place how did echidna get in" i panicked glancing at annabeth who just sat there

"what did she say to you annie" y/n asked scooting closer up "my mother let her in" she spoke disappointed

"what why..." percy said but then it clicked speaking again "medusas head" he said "but percy was the one who sent it up there" y/n said confused
