It was when Akari first asked her out. That dorky ninth-grade kid.

Akari was an awesome sophomore. She was known for her looks. Her smarts. Athleticness. She was known for her kindness and coolness. Pretty much every good quality a human being can achieve. She had them all.

But Mira on the other hand... Not so much. She was the quiet kid who walked around in hoodies. She was fairly good-looking, but she avoided the popularity.

But Akari changed her life after they met.

"Ay, kid,"

Mira whirled around. She's talking to me! Her dark features flushed, as usual. She sneaked a peak at Akaris's face just to see her face filled with amusement.

Absolutely gorgeous queen.

Mira never looked anyone in the eye. And it made her panic.

But looking straight into Akari's eyes, she felt euphoric. Her eyes were deeper than the ocean. She had beautiful siren eyes and pretty, heart shaped lips. Silky black hair. Mira could just stare at her all day.

"You dropped this," Akari held up a box of gum.

Mira was still staring.

"Uh? You good?"

Mira's eyes widened. " I'm sorry!"

Akari truly was like a siren. Except she didn't want to lure her to her death. She lured her into love.
