After hours and hours of waiting and napping during the process, the final moment arrives.
The baby is born!
Rob hears a baby cry and he springs up out of his chair and runs down the hallway.
"Congratulations! It's a healthy baby girl." said the nurse handing the baby over to Chanel
Chanel looks at the baby's sweet little face.
"You're so beautiful." said Chanel in a gentle tone of voice to the baby
Rob knocks on the door and comes into the room.
"Hi Rob." said Chanel smiling at him.
"Hey Chanel. How are you feeling?" asked Rob sitting beside her
"I'm fine. I'm just spending time with our daughter."said Chanel looking back down at the baby
She looks up at Rob.
"Do you want to hold her?" she asked
"Yeah" Rob said smiling
Chanel hands the baby over to Rob.
The baby falls asleep in his arms.
He smiles.
"So what are we going to name her?" asked Chanel
"I don't know. What do you think?" asked Rob.
"Well do you remember when we were looking up baby names a while back?" asked Chanel
"yeah" said Rob
"I remembered that one of the names was Larissa. That's a pretty name, don't you think." asked Chanel
"Yeah. I like it. It's a good name." said Rob
Chanel thought about it in her mind for a second.
"...Larissa Marie Dyrdek... It's perfect!" she said.
"Yeah. It is perfect. That's definately the name we're going for." said Rob
Just then the others walk in.
Big Black gets to hold the baby first.
Then it was Patty and Gene.
"Awww. She's precious. She has her mother's eyes and her daddy's smile. She looks like Chanel more than she does Rob, but I can still see a lot of Rob's features in her. Don't you agree Gene?" Patty asked looking over at Gene who wasn't paying attention.
"Gene?!" said Patty
"Huh? What?" Gene said looking back at Patty
"I said don't you agree that the baby has some of Rob's features?" asked Patty a second time.
"Yeah she does." said Gene
"What did you guys even name her?" asked Patty to Rob
"We decided on Larissa Marie." said Rob
"That's a pretty name. Larissa. I've hardly ever heard of it." said Patty
Gene gets to hold her next.
He didn't say much about the baby.
Chanel's parents got to hold her after that.
Later on after everyone has left and went on home, the nurse takes Larissa and puts her back into the nursery with all of the other babies.
The nurse gives Larissa her shots and does whatever was needed to be done.
Rob and Chanel get the birth certifercate signed and done.
Chanel gets tired after everything was over, and she falls asleep in her hospital bed.
Rob goes back home and goes straight to bed, promising to visit Chanel and the baby in the morning.
