The object of my madness, in the form of a beautiful little woman, makes me feel strange. The time I ran into Vivien Walker in that dark corridor and the way she defiantly accepted my game makes my black heart emit strange vibrations. Fucking crazy. And I swear that I will do everything to get her for myself.
She was already mine. Her fragile, tender body was already in the mouth of a terrible monster, I just had to grit my teeth for the blood to start flowing.
I finished my cigarette and watched from the side as Vivien nervously ran out of the cafe and typed something on the phone, holding it to her ear. Someone or something scared her. I saw it in the expression on her face and her round eyes. No one has the right to scare what is mine. She was nervous and waved her hands while talking, which made me conclude that I was right, and something scared her.
Whoever did this made a mistake because he became my target. Anger boiled inside me.
My attention was drawn to the Lockwoods' car, which stopped a meter away from where Vivien was standing. Josh Lockwood got out of the car and walked towards Vivien, stroking her shoulder comfortingly. We have known Lockwoods for a long time, and I know that he does not pose a threat to my heart. Perhaps this is all because Josh knew her older sister, Maria. They were friends, and Josh feels some responsibility for the fact that now Vivien is left alone in the cruel world of blood. This is understandable.
Nevertheless, Vivien Walker is not such a fragile and delicate creature as many might think. I see her strength, her struggle and desire to prove to everyone that she is worthy of bearing the title of mafia princess. More precisely, to show your power. I will be the one who helps her do this. Discover your strength; show everyone what it is capable of.
I will teach her not to be afraid of blood, but to enjoy its warmth. I will make sure that she confidently holds a bladed weapon in her hands and uses it not only to defend herself, but also to attack. Every next step I will be there and teach her to be herself.
My phone buzzed and I stared at the screen. This was my old friend who would soon return back to the city after dealing with the burden of the past.
"Spying on her again? You're acting like a maniac Caine."
His message made me smile, but I didn't respond.
Today was the day when the great William Walker entrusted his daughter to go on business and meet new suppliers. I learned all this from Lockwood when I supposedly ran into him by accident. A play on words and a game with his subconscious and voila, all the information is already in my head.
To be honest, I don't really care about this supplier, and I lied to him that I wanted to get it for myself. This is absolutely not true. All I want to do is watch how Vivien behaves at this meeting. Lockwood was quite experienced and smart, I'm sure that he would not allow anything to go wrong. But, I will still visit their meeting place.
After Lockwood's car drove off, I headed towards the back entrance of the cafe where Vivien was sitting. All I had to do was look at the administrator and smile my most charmingly terrifying smile for them, to show me the video from the surveillance cameras.
There was a monitor in front of the house on which a video was played over and over again where Vivien sat down at the table, and a few minutes later a tall figure in a black hood sat down behind her. Unfortunately, there was no sound, but I could read the words perfectly well from the lips. The truth is that the camera was aimed only at Vivien, and the figure behind her was out of the camera's range. All the information I could get was just what she said.
