Booster Gold's Little Girl

Chapter 1

Today was a big day in Michael Jon Carter's aka Booster Gold's life. It was his wedding to Dr. Tracy Simmons. They were very much in love. Many of the Justice League was there for the wedding day in their secret identities. They were all so happy for Michael. Ted his best friend was his best man. He helped Michael straighten his bowtie.

"I am so nervous," Michael said.

"You just got butterflies," Ted said.

"Yes with great big wings," Michael said.

Then Tracy came down the aisle in her wedding dress. She looked so beautiful. She was lovely and Michael remembered how he first met her. Then how their relationship grew. Michael also remembered after meeting her how he has grown as a hero. He was less concerned with wealth and fame and now more concerned with helping others. He was proud of his growth to say the least. He hoped his mother would be proud of this too.

Michael and Tracy joined hands. Then came the vows. "Michael Jon Carter do you take Tracy Simmons as your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, for better or for worse, for as long as you both shall live?" the justice of the peace asked.

"I do," Michael said.

"Tracy Simmons do you take Michael Jon Carter as your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, for better or for worse, for as long as you both shall live?" the justice of the peace asked.

"I do," Tracy said.

"I now pronounce you husband and wife." the justice of the peace said. "You may kiss the bride," he said.

Tracy and Michael kissed each other and everyone cheered. It was very wonderful. They were very happy. Life was good right now. They were looking forward to spending the rest of their lives together. They were hoping to have a very happy and wonderful family.

They had a wonderful honeymoon together. Booster Gold was still helping with the Justice League. He was very busy at it too. He was hoping all was going to go well for him and Tracy's marriage. He was determined to be a better father and husband than his father.

Michael treated Tracy like a lady and kindly. He loved her very much. He saw her as something to protect and cherish. He was very happy and looking forward to their lives together.

Tracy loved Michael with all of her heart. She was very busy at work at Star labs. Booster had his own job as a civilian he had many security skills. So he worked as a local security guard at museum just like he did in the future. He did really well at that. He was making sure this time to keep up good work. He was keeping an eye on everything.

Michael saw a young guard get in over his head when a crook tried to rob a display. Thinking fast Michael tackled the would be thief to the ground. "Attention all guards a thief has been caught, call police and I have him restrained and he tried to attack a rookie security guard," Michael said.

"Understood Carter," a fellow security officer said.

"That was some tackle," a young man said.

"I played football in from middle school all the way up till college," Michael said. Then he turned to the rookie. "You are still training, you should've called for back up instead of trying to handle it yourself that was dangerous," he told him.

"But Michael, I am a security guard protecting the museum is what I am suppose to do," the young guard said.

"True, but you are still learning the position," Michael said. "True I stopped him and I am restraining him right now, but I have more experience because I worked as a security guard before," he said. "There is no shame in asking for back up or help," he said.
