Imagine for Mary: You have a crush on him

You had your back pressed to your locker while looking at the floor trying your best not to cry.

You were so focus on control your tears that you didn't even realize that your bestfriend was beside you.

"Mary, is everything ok?" She asked you while putting her arms around you. She knew you were sad and she tried to cheer you up with that hug.

"Is just that..." You sighed scared to start crying in any moment "Mr. Fontaine told me today that I have a F on my last exam... And I swear I studied so hard... I don't know... I just feel useless"

"Oh babe c'mon, it's ok... Don't worry about that now, we'll find a solution"

She kissed your cheek and you hugged her back. You have the best friend ever.

The school bell rang. Both of you had a free hour before your next class.

"Today is quite sunny, how about instead of going to the library as usual we go outside? We can do our homework there while watching the football team training"

You laughed at your bestfriend. She has the biggest crush in one of your neighbors who was one of your best friends as well: Ethan Dolan.

"I don't know... I should go to the library and study French..."

"Mary, you need to rest a little bit and to relax so you can study harder than ever for you next test. Now you are so sad that you are not going to do anything productive"

You thought she was right so you both went to the school yard and sat on the grass, against a tree trunk.

Just like your best friend said the football team was there, having their practice just a few meters away from you both.

You looked at them trying to find Ethan. Soon your gaze connected with his and he smiled before he started to run towards you.

"Hey Mary, how are you?" He sat down in between you and your friend before turning his head to her and asked her "What's up?"

You tried to hide your smile. Ethan asked her the most random question but you knew she was freaking out on the inside even when she was trying to play it cool.

The three of you chatted for a little bit and while Ethan was telling the most lame joke ever you felt like someone was watching you. You glanced to where the football team was and there he was, Grayson, looking at you. In the moment he got caught he looked away quickly and pretended to be focus on the game.

You blushed. You had the biggest crush on Grayson since the moment you met him but you never tried anything because you always thought he was too good for you. You saw him a lot due to your friendship with his brother. However, you didn't have a really close relationship with him, he was always nice to you when you were at his house or when he saw you at school but that was it.

"Dolan! What do you think you are doing?! Get back here!" Ethan's coach shouted when he realized he was chatting with you and your friend.

He laughed while getting up "Ok, it seems like I have to go. It was a pleasure" You both laughed at how carefree he was "By the way Mary, I see you tonight, right?"

"Yeah, pizza and Netflix. And more pizza"

"Cool, see you later then" He looked to your friend and winked at her before turning around and starting to run back to his team.

"Oh my God!!" Your best friend started to freak out "Tell me you saw that! Tell me I'm not crazy...! Tell me that he winked at me!"

Your friend was so excited you just couldn't help it but laugh at her sweetly.
