"See you some other time Eve." a whisper from Cray, I quickly turn to him to say goodbye but he is no longer there. He's like a ghost, first he's there, and then he's gone.

"Here I am!" I shouted back at one of my father's men who was tasked to bring me back to my father. He came to me with a horse. So I mounted it and we went on. When the evening came, we camped and rested on hills of Mizpah, and at dawn, we continued our journey, our home is pretty far, it's in Tob. Another night and a morning and we will be there. (Actually, I walked my way for 6 days just to get on my mother's grave) When we're at the center of Gilead, we stopped.

"Why are we stopping here?" I asked with a confused countenance seeing that my escort is unpacking and have tied the horse.

"Your father is here, he was summoned by the elders of Gilead, pleading for your Father's help. Our land is threatened by the Ammonites and only your father is capable of leading this land. If all goes well, if your father will be victorious, he will be the head of this land." the guard answered with excitement all over his face. So we're not going to Tob anymore. He is obviously very proud of my father. And probably more of himself, since he's been part of my father's crusade for a long time in Tob when my father was exiled due to his birth illegitimacy.

"You don't need to worry about your belongings in Tob for we have already brought it here my Lady" he added.

"They disgust me. First they drive my dear father away because he's only a bastard son of my grandfather and now that they need something... errrr..." I reacted and spouted gibberish words to show how much I despised the situation.

"You should rejoice and praise the Lord, for he has brought me back to where I should be" a loud familiar voice interrupted my ranting, it's my father. I quickly ran to him and gave him a hug.

With some teardrops in my eyes I said "Father, I know, it's just that... is it true? You're going to lead an army to war the Ammonites? I don't want you to be... just stay with me and be safe"

"I must, the Lord is calling me, and I will answer Him. And do not be weary, for the Lord will protect me. Have faith Eve!" my father declared.

"Just be careful father, I will always pray for your safety."

"Now I must go, you take care of yourself Eve."

I kissed him farewell but it's not goodbye, I'm sure to see him again for our Lord is faithful.

I watch as my father and his army leaves the city, I saw him looking up, closing his eyes, muttering some words, and raising hands to the Lord and knelt. The whole city prayed as the army marched out.

After that, I went inside our new house here in Gilead. I found my room, sat on my bed and I started praying.

In the midst of silence, one, two, three footstep creaks the floor. Someone is here, I immediately took my knife and leaned against the wall by the side of the door. A seemingly gush of wind passed by me and I jumped out as if playing peek-a-boo in front of the door and swung my knife.

"There's no need to be hostile Eve. I come in peace, it's me, Cray" a man whispered behind me, I quickly turned to confirm if it's him. Yes it's Cray, he's standing beside my bed.

His eyes glitter like the stars in the night. His sky-like hair is even more beautiful in the dim light of my room. He has the most unusual apparels I've ever seen. A black leather pants, A white coat with accented sky-like colors. The buttons of his coat are like golds. His foot is covered upto his knees with a shiny black material. He has two silver rings and a silver bracelet on his left hand.

"How did you get here?" I asked while trying to not show my joy for he is here when I really needed someone the most. I must admit, I think I'm in love.

"It doesn't matter" he said whispering and slowly approached me.

Now he's in front of me and he change the direction of the knife towards the floor with only his finger, he's pretty strong, I was actually trying to stop it with all my force, but with only his finger, he put the knife aside.

"I heard everything Eve" he whispered with a serious face. "Don't worry, I will make sure that your father will be safe." He knelt like a knight making a promise, then he vanished.
