I was sitting in my room drawing a few doodles around old scraps of lyrics and songs when I heard my phone ping and the screen light up, I looked down to see a notification from Noah

Noah🪩 : hey, I'm going to New York soon and my friend dropped out so I was wondering if you'd want to go?
Cody🎀 : omg!!! Yes yes!! I would love to!
Noah🪩 : great, start packing we leave on Saturday
Cody🎀 : ok! Thank you Noah!!
Noah🪩 : you're welcome Cody
I turned my phone off and immediately pulled down my old suitcase from atop of my cupboard, I then tried to start picking some outfits but realised I didn't have anything good to wear. I quickly packed my pyjamas and picked my phone up messaging Noah.

Cody🎀 : NOAH
Noah🪩 : Cody?
Cody🎀 : I need to go shopping for clothes, will you come with?
Noah🪩 : yeah, sure, I need to get some things too
Cody🎀 : ok good! Can you come pick me up? My licence got taken again..
Noah🪩 : yeah yeah, whatever, I'll be there in 15, be ready
I quickly shoved on a random pair of shoes and grabbed my jacket and wallet, shoving it in my pocket, before waiting at the door for Noah to arrive. When Noah arrived I quickly ran into his car, he almost immediately started driving again.
"Where are we going?"
"The big mall, down near the college"
"Oh! I've been meaning to check that place out.. I really need to get new skin care stuff and now I need new clothes for New York.."
"you do skin care?"
"Uhm yeah! And makeup!"
"Cool.."
The rest of the drive was quite quiet, but it was comfortable for both of them. Cody plugged his phone into Noah's car adapter and played 1989 on his Spotify (not Taylor's version bc this is set before even rep was released) I looked at Noah and he was smiling at me as I sang along with the words of the opening track, Welcome To New York
"ITS A NEW SOUNDTRACK!! I COULD DANCE TO THIS BEAT!!"
"forevermore the lights are so bright, but they never blind me!!"
The two of us laughed as we sang the song together. When we got to the mall Noah quickly parked the car before getting out, he came over and opened my door for me, I laughed
"What a gentlemen" he rolled his eyes, only making me laugh more, the two of us walked into the mall.
We were walking around the mall I kept rambling on about random things until Noah stopped walking and pressed his lips against mine.
"What was that for?"
"You were talking to much" he said, obviously blushing furiously, not like I could say much..
"you're a good kisser!"
"thanks?" I grab his hand and pull him into the closest shop I see.
After a few hours we were finally leaving the mall, we had bags full of stuff and were definitely ready for New York. I still couldn't get over the fact he kissed me.. THE Noah Sterecra, had kissed me. Shocking. When he dropped me off at my house, he obviously grew some confidence because he kissed me again and everthing made sense. in the background calmly and quietly playing , "You are in love" .. he pulled away and mouthed "I love you" before letting me out of the car, I waved and told him to check his messages when he got in.

Cody🎀 : hehe
Noah🪩 : be my bf?
Cody🎀 : no.

Cody🎀 : omg, ofc i will, i didn't let you kiss me twice for nothing!
