delicate is the 5th track on taylor swift's 6th studio album reputation. it's about taylor opening up and being vulnerable but can't help but worry that her reputation will affect the relationship. it is also interpreted as taylor being in the beginning stage of relationship and is scared to jump in too deep or over confess.

thoughts : 1 2 3 LET'S GO BITCH!!! ok, now that i got that out of the way, i really like this song. the lyrics are really good, i can kinda feel like her worry through the lyrics if that makes sense. what i really like about this sounds in the music, like the beats and stuff. if you pay attention to that only, it adds soooo much more to the song. especially in the pre-chorus when she starts asking questions, the music slows down to a simple piano beat, showing vulnerability. i also love the heartbeat like sound in the bridge, it really adds to the flow of the song.
