Upon seeing you and Luke inside with Winnie and Vernon, Pedro freezes for a moment, but then he sneers.

Pedro: "Old man, what can you do even with a lawyer? You're up against Baldr, the best of the best. You can't win. Why not save yourself some money and buy the premium services from me?"

Winnie: "See, Grandpa Vern? He's gone completely off the deep end!"

Y/n: "Pedro..."

Luke: "Don't rush."

He winks at you and flashes something from his pocket – a recording pen. Does he think Pedro may get emotional and reveal the truth about everything?

Vernon: "Pedro, why won't you resign? You ought to know that what you did was against the law!"

Y/n: "Of course we do! What happened at this restaurant wasn't a food poisoning accident, but a case of deliberate contamination! We found a receipt showing that you brought a toxic insecticide. What do you think of that?"

Pedro sees the evidence you and Luke collected on the table behind you, and his expression immediately changes.

Pedro: "You got some nerve, old man! Aside from leturing me endlessly, you're also forging evidence! What a two-faced geezer! You say you care about me, but you're pulling this crap!? What a hypocrite!"

Winnie: "Pedro, how dare you call Grandpa Vern a hypocrite! What did he ever do to you!?"

Pedro: "Cut the crap! Like you don't knoe! If I didn't look like his dead son, he wouldn't have encouraged me to go to college and stay in Stellis! Does he know how hard it is to relocate and survive here!? Forget buying a house and settling down, I can barley earn enough to cover rent and food in this hyper-competitive city! He forced me into this situation, so he should be held responsible! Besides, isn't it natural for a father to give his son money to support his career?"

Winnie: "You... You're truly beyond reason..."

Pedro: "I'm being equitable. If he buys my company's services, he can promote his business and I reach my target. What's unfair about this? But he'd rather play hero and throw his money at bottom-feeder students! Look at where that got him. Do you see any of those students helping him now? Not a single one except you, but you're only here 'cause you need his money to get through college! This is karma for him being a hypocrite. How about it? Buy our premium PR service and I can hit my target."

Everyone is shocked by Pedro's shamelessness. Vernon stares incredulously at Pedro, deeply wounded by his words.

Y/n: "How shameless."

Winnie: "Grandpa Vern!"

The quiet restaurant is suddenly filled with the sound of Vernon's rapid breathing. He clutches his chest and kneels in pain. You and Luke move to check on Vernon, but Pedro suddenly makes a beeline for the evidence on the table.

Y/n: "Oi!"

Y/n takes a deep breath and is suddenly behind Pedro pinning his arm to his back.

Pedro: "Ow! L-Let go of me!"

Pedro's face pales from the pain. Unable to free himself from Y/n's grip, Pedro swings his free fist towards Y/n.

Y/n: "Ara ara~"

Y/n blocks the hit and swips his legs out from under him causing him to fall.

Pedro: "Urk."

Y/n steps on his back pinning his arms to it.
