From Brainstorm To Killerstorm

Plan

Miles's POV:

Once we teleport back to the Man's Nest, we call Schwoz in to fix Chapa. She had burn marks everywhere from Killerstorm's black lightning shock, which is still hard to believe he has.

Once Schwoz comes in, he is very surprised to see the condition Chapa was in. Luckily, he came in with a medical table, bandages and ice packs to help Chapa.

She had to change back into her normal clothes first because they were still a little smoky. Once that was done, she got onto the bed, we all helped Schwoz apply the bandages to Chapa's burns, and we handed her an ice pack to put on her head. She hit it pretty hard when she fell to the ground, then the rest of us changed back into our normal clothes.

Chapa: "Thanks, you guys. Another minute back there, and I probably would've been dead."

Mika: "Well, thank God we all got out of there quickly."

Ray: "What are we going to do about Killerstorm, though? We have to get our Bose back before he causes anymore havoc."

Schwoz: "Hmm, maybe I could build a device that could reverse the effects of the evil that Minyak induced into Bose."

Mika: "That just might work. We would have to find a way to sneak it past Minyak without him destroying it."

Ray: "Not a problem, we'll just be super sneaky."

Chapa: "Um, sure."

Chapa's POV:

I felt my head pain slowly start to go away as I held the ice pack to the back of it. The bandages felt a tiny bit uncomfortable, but at least I didn't have to look at my burn marks.

Me: "I don't know if I can fight again, and I know that Killerstorm will want to fight me again."

Miles: "Well, either way, we have to get Bose back. He's an important part of our team."

As I'm thinking about how we need to get Bose back, I start to feel more and more guilty. None of this would've happened if I didn't get so mad at him, and I'm sure the words really pierced his heart, causing him to be able to turn evil.

I know what I'm going to do as soon as we get Bose back: I'm going to apologize to him, and I'm going to mean it this time. Mika must've been able to tell how I was feeling, because she carefully placed her hand on my arm.

Mika: "We're going to get Bose back, Chapa."

Me: "I know, it's just... I shouldn't have been so hard on him. Sure, he's not the smartest, but I should've just accepted that. If it wasn't for me, we wouldn't have to deal with any of this. I need Bose back, we ALL need him back."

I start to feel a tear leaving my eye, and I immediately hug Mika, not even caring at this point about the pain I felt. When Mika hugged back, I cried on her shoulder for a few seconds, then I start to pull myself together, and I let go.

Me: *sniffles* "Sorry if I ruined your shirt with my tears."

Mika: "Don't worry about it, we just need to focus on getting Bose back."

Me: "Right, right."

Schwoz: "I'll get to work on the device, and in the meantime, Chapa needs to heal up completely before fighting again."

Schwoz exits.

No One's POV:

Elsewhere...

Minyak: *evil chuckles* "You've injured one of them so far, and pretty soon, you'll have beaten all of them."

Killerstorm: "Except for the old one, he's indestructible."

Minyak: "Forget about him, only focus on the Danger Dorks."

Killerstorm: *evil chuckles* "Will do, my Lord."
