The lights don't dim, yet a strange and calming presence ensues around Diamond and Echo.
Step by step.
The Diamond Steve slowly wakes up, with someone sitting across the table
Diamond's waking up.
D : " Augh.. "
The person across the table strums their fingers on the table, staring at Diamond.
? : " Good morning. "
The Diamond Steve jumps slightly in his seat, the voice was unfamiliar with a sense of unease.
D : " Uhm. "
? : " I have all the time here to wait, hello. "
Diamond lifted his head, wiping his eyes briefly to look at the Person.
Echo is gone, has Echo ditched him?
? : " what's your name? where'd you come from? who was the bird with you? what's up with your eye? what are your hobbies? tell me about you. "
He wasn't expecting this would what come out of the Person, he can't even tell what the hooded person is looking at. But he could feel eyes on him, he couldn't process what the Figure said to him because of how fast they spoke.
D : "I- Diamond- uh. "
? : " That's fine, nice to meet you Diamond. " The Figure shakes their head.
Where is their mouth? how are they even speaking?
D : " Wh- where's Echo. "
? : " Who? "
D : " The parrot. "
Diamond was afraid, yet the Person he spoke with couldn't pick up on the expression.
? : " Oh, I see don't worry They're safe. "
Diamond didn't trust them, what they said is vague.
? : " ... " They would lift their sleeve over their hand, a small amount of blood staining the sleeve. It was still fresh.
D : " Can I see him? "
? : " No, but I will introduce myself. "
Mystery : " My name is Mystery, thee Mystery. Just Mystery. "
D : " .. Okay, Mystery. "
Mystery : " Say it. "
D : " What? "
Mystery : " Say nice to meet you. "
Diamond is agitated, he'd hesitate. Nor Mystery was asking, they ordered.
D : " Nice to meet you Mystery? "
Mystery : " nice to meet you too, Diamond. "
Mystery : " you will stay here for the night, you can't say no. " Mystery's eyes were a bit strange, Diamond noted what made it a bit eerie to Diamond was the fact that Mystery had no mouth. " Follow me to the upstairs, I will show you. " Mystery stood up from the chair, Mystery roughly forcing Diamond up from the seat just to drag him upstairs.
