Taking deep breaths, Jungkook walked up the familiar steps that he had been able to avoid for a week. But at some point his fantasy of never having to step foot in this place had to come to an end. He had to face reality at some point, at least now he knew someone. Even if the person was a hybrid he could at least look to them if he had any troubles. Yoongi didn't come across as the type of person who would leave him out for the vultures, he was positive that with what little time he had spent with the male, if Jungkook truly needed someone to back him up then Yoongi would possibly be in his corner. Not that he was looking to cause trouble or get into any fights but with what had happened in the canteen last week he wasn't so sure. His plan to lay low and go unnoticed was no longer viable. He had been humiliated infront of half of the student body and could still feel that breath on his nape, or feel his lips against his ear. That night he had spent most of it scrubbing the side of his face where he had been touched. Call him crazy but he felt dirty and he didn't know why.
Maybe it was because someone was touching him intimate almost in a way, the males body pressed into his back. That weight was far more worse than that of the chain hanging around his neck. Whoever they were, he could only pray that they would leave him alone. So that is why he was sticking to his original plan, keep to himself, don't talk to anybody unless approached first.
Hopefully it would help him just enough to skate through the next two years out of the line of fire.
He didn't want to do this. Jungkook longed for normalcy and friends. If his only options were humans with values that greatly contrasted with his then he had no other choice but this.
The first three days back were going as normal as he could have hoped for. Nobody spoke a word to him and although he would think it would bother him to be so blatantly ignored he took solace in the silence. It was better than being the laughing stock he had become that day. But all good things come to an end and now he was facing a boy whom he didn't know. A hybrid boy who was incredibly beautiful and was smiling widely at him, his teeth on display and his eyes turning into little crescent moons.
It was such a radiant smile that he really wanted to return one himself but his fear got the better of him. All he could think was that this was some type of set up. Were there more lurking around the corner just to judge his reaction? Testing him?
He shivered looking right and left but found no one in the bathroom other than himself and this blonde hybrid.
"I'm not gonna bite" the hybrid chuckled. "I'm Jimin, you're Jungkook right?"
"You know me?" His eyes met the others and all he could see was curiosity and something welcoming in the hybrids.
"Mhmm. Of course I do. I'd be stupid not to, you're the talk of the school." The hybrid leaned back against the sink making himself comfortable.
"Oh.." his heart sank at the memory of that day again, he couldn't escape it, could he?
"I mean I don't blame the people around here, you're literally so freaking pretty. It's no wonder that everyone is talking about you, myself included"
"Huh?"
"You really don't know?" Jimins eyes twinkled as they stared into his. Jungkook only shook his head, not finding any words to form. "You are really cute, you know that Jungkookie? I think I'm going to keep you"
His cheeks began rising in temperature at all the compliments he'd been receiving. The bell ringing startled him and he jumped a little at the shrill sound.
"Your phone?"
"What?"
"Give me your phone, I'm gonna give you my number"
