The light sound of rain was still there when he awoke, no sun, just a dim light that was coming in from the window. Had to be early.

He could make out voices coming from behind the closed door, two distinct ones that he recognized. Sitting straighter he tried focusing on the words.

"...early Tae......later"

"...see him..."

His lips pursed and his heart quickened. Taehyung was here. His wolfie. A part of him relieved and happy, the other worried. But he didn't want the other to leave and come back later, wanted him to stay.

Quickly crawling from the bed he hurried to the door. The two must of heard him as the voices stopped and when he opened the door his heart felt instant relief. Taehyungs eyes met his and the relief he felt wavered a little when he saw the hybrids hair sticking in places, slightly damp clothing that looked an awful lot like Joonies and eyes that looked too sad to stare into.

He held up his arms, waiting for Taehyung to step into them. Didn't say any words just raised his arms and waited. Didn't need to wait long, as soon as it happened Taehyung faltered a half second before he was stepping through the doorway and crashing into the younger mumbling apology after apology.

The mark on his neck tingled when Taehyung's breath hit it and his lips pressed against the claim, laying kiss after kiss. The two didn't hear the door shutting or Yoongi muttering something before walking away.

"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry baby"

Jungkook shook his head but no words were formed, his tongue tied down. He gently grabbed Tae's head and pushed him away from his neck so he could see him. The amount of guilt and shame present was overwhelming for the younger, he didn't like seeing those emotions in the elders eyes.

Closing his own eyes he pulled him down until their lips meet. But was quickly turned down when Taehyung held his shoulders and pushed him away lightly as soon as their mouths brushed together.

"No, no" Taehyung started. "Let me..." The smaller's eyes were tearing up when he looked into them. He bent a little and scooped his mate into his arms before settling himself on the bed. "I need to talk to you baby bun." He caressed his cheeks not wanting any tears to fall. "If I don't say what I need to now I don't think I'll ever have the courage to"

Jungkook nodded while holding back his sniffling. At first he felt rejected but after Taehyung spoke he calmed down, waiting for answers.

"I'm sorry, my wolf he's a mess right now because we hurt you-.."

"No Wolfie I'm sorry I shouldn't have kept asking you about the-...I'm sorry" His lips automatically pouted as he looked to the front of Tae's shirt. Frowning because his hyung had one just like it.

A finger lifted his chin up and Taehyung was shaking his head no. "No. You did nothing wrong. It was me, my wolf. I should've been able to control myself, especially with you. Talking to you like that, shouting at you, we hurt you and that's not something we ever intended." His hands came up and held onto either side of the younger's face bringing it closer to his own. "We made you cry, didn't we?"

Jungkook's eyes bore into his, a little moisture in them but nothing fell. "It's ok"

"It's not" Taehyung knew he was lying. His heart beat had raised slightly when he said those words. Jungkook was still hurt and he needed to make it right. The mark on his neck looked raw and painful and he knew that if they didn't complete the bond soon it'd only serve as temporary and disappear. At least that's what it did with hybrids. Humans, he wasn't sure.

The hybrid leaned down and licked along his mark causing the boy to shiver. His fingers dug into his biceps and a little gasp left him. Taehyung listened to the rising heartbeat once more, his scent spiked and bloomed around them. Who knew humans could omit this type of reaction just as a hybrid does?
