(Robin's POV)
My mind was still on the guy from earlier who had been acting weird ever since I asked the question. But I continued to ignore it. I was now at Finney's house with Finney of course. Bruce and Vance said they wanted to just catch up and hang, by themselves. And Griffin and Billy just left to do 'Something' I didn't know what and truly, I didn't really want to know. Who knew what they could be doing. I thought.
I almost slightly cringed at the thought, were they dating? I wondered. Finney tapped me on the shoulder bringing me out of my thoughts. "Hi." I blurted out. "Um hi...You want one?" Finney asked wiggling the pack of cigarettes in his hands. "Oh uh no thanks... I don't smoke." Finney leaned back onto his bed head board looking over at me. I was sitting on a small couch in his room. "So...Have you ever drank or smoked?" Finney asked lighting the cigarette. "No, but I do plan on doing it... I mean, like drinking and having a cigarette." I noticed how dumb that sounded before I slightly turned red. "It's fine... Are you like religious?" "No... If anything were almost the opposite." "Oh... How come?"
"Uh, for one thing I'm gay... My mom had sex before marriage, she drinks too. My dad cheated, and did some bad things..." Finney only raised an eyebrow at me. "Your gay?" "Yeah..." Finney almost looked taken aback as he took a drag of the cigarette that had been held between his two fingers. "Is that a surprise?" "Yeah a bit... No offence of course. You just... Well...I don't know." Finney looked at me almost observing my whole entire persona.
"Yeah, lots of people I guess are surprised when I come out to them... There like, 'wow, I would have never known, I guess I can't hook you up with my daughter!'" I said in a mocking baby voice. Finney only chuckled. "Guessing you were popular back in Denver." Did I tell him I moved from Denver... Did I? "Uh, yeah you could say that." He looked at me suspiciously. "Spill." He said putting out the cigarette on an ash tray next to his bed. "Uh, well everyone loved me, teachers, kids, coaches, like everyone. Even parents."
I sighed. "I had a stereotypical dream teenager life, for a straight daddy issues kid. Had a beautiful girlfriend, who was the captain of the cheer leading team, Claire. I was quarterback, star player...And when I came out as Gay, everyone just sorta found out because of one of my 'friends' and well from then on, people either hated me, or liked me." I sighed leaning back in the chair. Finney only slowly nodded. The sun was setting now so the room began getting darker.
"Uh, well I sorta had life like that too..." "How?" "I was the cool kid, that was hot, and I still have that reputation. Except, now I sleep with way way way more people. But at least I'm experienced." Finney said raising his hands and hovering them over his body. "Can I ask when you got the tattoos?" "Oh yeah sure. My dad doesn't care, so I just went with a signed note, and got a snake, then I got fangs, a bat, spider web, stars, and..." Finney begins lifting up his shirt revealing a dragon on his lower thigh, and upper hip.
"Oh yeah that's cool." I said taking a better look at the tattoo. "This was my like... fourth tattoo I think." Finney said putting his shirt back down. I nodded slowly feeling my phone buzzing in the pocket of my jeans. Finney ran a hand through his hair looking me deeply in the eyes. He just smiled showing his rather sharp teeth.
"Um..." I slowly grabbed my phone to see an unknown number.
Unknown- Hi, It's Gale, from school if you remember me, didn't really see you today where were you?
Robin- I didn't feel good, Finney took me home
Gale- Ok, just tell me next time teachers were wondering where you were
