Naruto stood in a small and recently made clearing in the woods, several trees were smashed leaving several logs and stumps, he was breathing heavily, he dropped his weapon a large Iron ball, and fell over, 

"Maybe I should. . . turn in for the day?" he asked breathing heavily, suddenly he felt a weight on his stomach, he looked up and a long black haired girl with seven swords on her back was sat on him,

"Hey Uzumaki," She said with a smile, "You trying to break into logging or something?" she gestured to the trees around them, 

"I. . . needed to. . . train Homura," he gapsed,

"I getcha," she said taking off her swords, then she laid back onto him, "Kakashi not helping again?" she asked, 

"Yeah," he said,

"That guy's a prick," Homura stated, 

"...Yeah," Naruto said as he looked up at the sky,

The two loudmouths just stayed there watching the sky, time seemed to just flow by as they just enjoyed one another's company,

"How's the squad doing?" he asked,

Homura opened one of her eyes, "You have any spare pots you ain't using?" she asked, "Or any money and a desire to hire a few highly skilled ninja dropouts for any jobs you can't be bothered to do?"  

Naruto snorted, "The maid cafe didn't pay I take it?"

Homura sighed, "It payed well, turns out we're not fit for the job, took Mirai a whole day before she got mad, Hikage tossed people into their own tables when they touched her, Yomi ate the customers food, And Haruka ran experiments on the customers, and we've already burned though what we did earn,"

"You could always sign up here you know?" Naruto said, "Sarutobi let's you all live basically in the village cause he wants you to sign up,"

Homura crossed her arms, "Hebiko wouldn't let us just sign up with another ninja squad, and we're not exactly thrilled about being separated, especially after everything we've been through together, we're family you know?"

"Fair point," Naruto said, 

Homura sat up, she linked her fingers together ". . . You ever considered. . . joining us?" she asked,

Naruto looked up at the pensive beauty sat on his waist, "Homura?" 

"I'm serious," she stated, "This place doesn't treat you right and you know it, you'd be way better treated with us,"

Naruto looked at Homura's eyes, 'Stern and serious' he noted, "You're really considering it aren't you?"

"I have for a while," she admitted, "we've been working on the escape plan for so long that we're even sure it's perfect,"

"Homura... Konoha wouldn't just let me go-,"

She put her hand on his shoulder, "And Hebiko didn't let us go either, we kicked so much ass to leave that our feet hurt," she grinned, 

Naruto chuckled, "Just leave this place and wander around with a bunch of hot ladies eh?"

Homura smiled, "You think you're getting off good? I'd enjoy catching you shirtless, and I doubt I'm the only one who would," she eyed up his musculature,

"Running around like a bunch of mercs?" he asked, 

"Maybe even bandits?" Homura laid on his torso looking him in the eyes, "Going wherever we want, no rules, no one to stop us, helping people who need it,"

Naruto let out a breath, "... Sounds like paradise,"

Homura smiled, "Doesn't it?"

"We'd be on the run from both Konoha and Hebiko though," he noted, 

"And the other villages who want a shiny new Jinjuriki," Homura added,

"You know, even if I said yes we'd have to fight our way out of this forest?" He asked,

Homura smirked, "We can take 'em,"

"Homura. . . I've never considered anything I've wanted more, and... can never have," Naruto said,

Homura sadly sat up, "You... sure?" 

"It's... I can't..." he sighed, "If we left," he started, "Fighting through the entire of Konoha, where would we go?" he asked, "Would we ever find a place to settle down? Konoha is fine with you guys being here, and if we drop this topic they might not care that we even brought it up, anywhere we'd get too close too might be too wary of a group that helped a Jinjuriki escape, or too into the idea of having the nine tails added to their ranks,"

"... You have thought about it," she said sadly,

"I fucking dream about it," he stated, "problem is I always wake up,"

Homura leaned down and kissed him, it was chaste and rough only lasting a second, "Sorry for askin' then," she said,

"Kiss me like that and you can ask me whatever you want," He said making her grin return,

"Oh I can, can I?" she asked, leaning down again, "What else can I do if I apologies with a kiss?" 

"With lips like those I'd let you get away with murder," he said wrapping his arms around her,

"Sorry to interrupt," Kakashi called as he landed, "It's time for training Naruto," 

Homura frowned, "Seems you gotta go," 

"Yeah," Naruto frowned back,

She pecked his lips again, "Sorry," she said standing up, she put her swords back on her back and walked past Kakashi, "Thanks cyclops," she said,

Kakashi put his hands up, "Hey just doing my job as a teacher is all, no need to get snappy,"

Homura snorted, "You acting like a teacher? that'd be the day," she said before jumping off into the woods,

"Well that was rude," Kakashi said scratching his head as Naruto stood up grabbing the chain for his iron ball, "You ready?" he asked, 

"Oh yeah," Naruto stated wrapping his chain around his body, "Can't wait to watch Sasuke and Sakura spar while I sit in a corner and work on my chakra control which hasn't once helped me in my life,"

Kakashi shrugged, "Isn't my fault you decided to use a weapon I have no idea how to use,"

Naruto turned to him coldly, "Yeah, cause you helped so much before I started using it," he said shoulder checking Kakashi as he walked by him,

"Careful Naruto," Kakashi said grabbing the young blonde's shoulder, "You're in trouble enough for being late, and for that conversation you two just had,"

"Maybe if this place didn't treat me like shit maybe we wouldn't have had it," Naruto stated before jumping off into the trees,

Kakashi sighed, "Maybe..." he said shutting his one visible eye tightly, then he shook his head and jumped after him,
