"As soon as I saw you, I knew an adventure was gonna begin."

"I need these snacks too and this one too. Okie I'm ready to go. Yay!" She thought.
"I need my earphones, something to eat and I'm done." He thought. Both the families were happy...they were going on a 4 day trip together. Friends met and talked again and they started their journey. They both were sitting in the back seat alone.

"Should I ask her something??....maybe I should. Its getting awkward." He thought. "I'm so sleepy...oh gosh!" She thought. "What are you thinking about?" "Why do you bother asking?" "Aren't you excited for the trip?" "Yes I am.. anything else?"
"Why is she so rude :(  Well...I tried being friendly, not my problem." He thought looking at her went into his musical world. "Why is he trying to talk to me? Why does he care? I'm so sleepy."
She went to dreamland. Slowly, her head found its way to his shoulder, a comfort spot for her. He was shocked. This was the first time any girl came so close to him, first time a girl was sleeping on his shoulders. Unknowingly, he stared at her face and thought "She's cute but rude." Wait...she ignored me first. Why am I being so sweet then, we don't like each other. I want my shoulder back.

He shifted by she landed on his lap. He was screaming internally. He kept calm and woke her up. She apologised and the rest of the car trip was silent. They stopped by a restaurant to eat something. They regret seeing each others face.
"Why does it have to be him?" "Why does it have to be her? Why the hell am I blushing since that incident in the car tho....do I like her..? No no don't even think that way dude!"
After a long day they finally reached their destination in the evening. Cool breeze, high waves, sweet smell of the beach. Everyone went to their respective rooms. "Should I call her to see the sunset? Maybe I should, she'll like it." *knock knock* "Would you like to go see the sunset?" *slams* "Oh! My handsome face... how dare she!" *click* "Yeah.. let's go." she replied. They went on the beach and started walking on the shore. This was the first time he caught himself staring at her and admiring her. She was busy in her own world, playing with sand and making patterns with sand. She bent down to do something and a baby crab crept her hand. She ran towards him in fear and he started laughing and teasing her. Her face became sad, he felt kinda sad to have teased her so much. He apologised and they went back to the hotel because they were both hungry. They had their dinner and they both gobbled the food furiously. Their parents were trying their best to make them friends but they were least interested in that. They regret being in that situation so much that they looked like inflated balloon. So to please their parents they decided to go to the beach again. Instructions kept coming as if it was a default setting, "Don't go to far", "Take care of her", and "Don't go on the beach." They went towards the rocks in the start of the beach. They sat there, admiring the ocean, the stars twinkling away carelessly, the moon shining brightly over them, the waves crashing into each other. "Why are you so silent?" He asked. "Nothing" She replied and continued staring at the ocean.

"You can trust me." He whispered, but loud enough for her to hear it. "What do you know and why should I trust you?" She asked almost on the verge of crying.. "I don't know, but if something's troubling you, you can share it with me." He replied. She looked at him for a moment and bursted into tears. Those tears, were the saddest part. Those eyes, that shined brighter than any star in the sky, were shattering in tears. Unknowingly, he felt an ache in his heart, as if she was just a part of him that was crying out loud for a shoulder.

She calmed down and told him everything that was bothering her. How she was being judged by the people around her. How she was being laughed upon at any situation. How lonely she was with no friends and more. Constant betrayals, bullying made her numb. She wasn't interested in anything anymore. She just wanted to quit. She was tired. All she needed was love, a hope that everything would turn out to be okay and she no more has to hide her scars.
He felt as if someone just stabbed him hard in his heart. He felt his heart sink deep down to his stomach. He was furious to know how terribly people treated her. He felt weak. He wanted to protect her from everything that is troubling her. He continued saying beautiful comments to her to the point that he realised... "Wait... we are enemies, why should I call her beautiful?"
After a weird silence, she kept her head on his shoulder and said "Thank you for listening to me. Sorry I couldn't hold in those tears and cried my heart out, I really couldn't hold in.." she mumbled under her breath. "You can always tell me. I'll listen to you. Please don't keep things to yourself and get hurt." She just nodded.

They started talking about other stuffs. Her head never leaving his shoulder and his hand never letting go of hers. She was so beautiful but just a bit messed up and he drew stars around her scars. They sat on those rocks for sometime more and enjoyed each others company. Their ever lasting enmity had already turned into a sweet blossom of friendship. He liked being around her. He dreamt of a future with her. He would do anything just to get a glimpse of her beautiful eyes, her melodious voice, those beautiful hair strands waving infront of her face.Her smile was making him extremely happy. That day the blush didn't leave his face. And that night his thoughts were occupied by her and only her. She felt safe with him. She felt as if she has found a shoulder to lean on. Miss "I can do it by myself " had found her "I know you can but let me do it for you, Princess.."

"It's just her, I wish she would know how much i love her" That one night changed everything about him. He didn't had those butterflies, he just felt warm around her. Her smile was enough to make him happy. They became closer, so close that no one would have guessed that they were enemies once. She asked about him and he told her everything. Shocking revelations and cute moments, they enjoyed themselves in their own little world of the beach.
The 4 day trip was incomplete without them going to the beach to relieve everything. He couldn't face her any longer. He blushed everytime they were close to each other. He just spent his entire night thinking about her, wiggling around like a small baby.
She, on the other hand was relaxed now. She wasn't feeling the hate towards him, but a genuine feeling that she is now not alone and has a shoulder to lean on. Encyclopedia contains information about everything in this world. He became her human encyclopedia, carefully observing her small small habits, each and every detail about her was known to him. And unknowingly there came a time when he started caring for her more than himself.
He wanted to keep her safe. He told her about her beauty whenever she got insecure. He had no weaknesses until he met her. And soon he realised how deeply in love he was. Due to the pain and suffering, she rarely laughed but when she did it was the most melodious music in the world. And everytime she laughed, she took his heart all over again.
He decided to protect her from everyone and everything that's troubling her. He was never a good writer, he just used to write about her and the words he wrote found the way to him, as if searching her in every feeling of his.

This was just the start of an adventure. Even they are unaware of the things that are meant to come their way....
