The story of Nathan

I was in a cold room in a tower that my family keeps me in because I wasn't born with any magic. I could hear the wooden floor creak and small footsteps and heavy footsteps, they opened the wooden door and I heard a familiar voice "Mr Nathan, you are requested to sit at the family table right now, Lady Elizabeth wants your presents sir." The man was large in stature, big framed and a very kind and gentle voice and you could see a small girl. She walks up to my bed and takes off my blanket and hands me over my clothes for today. The clothes are simple but have the brightest baby blue shirt and pants. I changed quickly from my pajamas to my new clothes and they took me to my mother. We walked past the other butlers, cutting the grass, trimming the bushes and watering the plants. the small girl was looking at me so i looked back and waved, she hid behind the large man. "Eleanor dont be shy, you can tell Mr Nathan hello, he is a very gentle young man, I think you two are around the same age if i'm not mistaken." We stopped near a gate and the girl introduced herself. "Hello sir, my name is Eleanor and I hope I can help you with your daily needs." she raised her hand and waited for a handshake and i shocked her hand. " I hope my family has been kinder to you than they have towards me." Eleanor tilted her head in confusion and wondered why I said that because they have treated her the same as Nathan, with little respect.

The large man opened the gate by himself, no need to help him because his muscles flexed and bursted out of his suit. Me and Eleanor were too stunned to speak. Both me and Eleanor looked around and we saw gigantic statues, a power symbol to show the butlers and the rest of the world that aren't in the Kenway family. My brothers and sisters were looking at me and Eleanor and the butler. Both of them gave my brothers and sisters a deep bow. As my brothers and sister looked at us we could hear our mother and her flowy and elegant purple dress, with a golden and silver lining, the hair was tied up with a pin made out of a golden dragon's scale not even a skilled knight or mage can kill or bring down a golden dragon and survive. She walked down the stairs and her piercing glare looked like a thousand needles were stabbing me, over and over again. I felt tremors when she walked down, her magical pressure made me and Eleanor almost fall to our knees. My brothers and sisters laughed at us because they noticed that. They always think i'm inferior but one day i'll show them. As I clenched my fists and held back my anger my mother, Lady Elizabeth noticed and gave a small grin on her face. "Careful child of mine, I could end you where you stand and no one would even notice that you were ever born. tsk tsk tsk sweet child of mine be careful, i have summoned you to the main castle because you are a disgrace to the Kenway name. Everyone of your siblings has shown me and everyone in this country that they have extraordinary magical powers but you, you have almost no magic in you, all you can do with your magic is light up a candle. I don't really know if you can even do that child. I and your siblings have come up with a request for you and that is to leave the property and never return, take those butlers with you and leave after you have packed your stuff. you have until tomorrow morning." The butler and Eleanor were shocked about the news but I always knew that this day would come sooner or later. I clenched my fists and they started to bleed, the burning feeling swollen all over my body. Eleanor took my hand because she could sense my burning hate for my family and she put on a smile and that caught me off guard cuz I could clearly see some tears running down her cheeks. I turned my back at them and words spewed from my mouth with anger. "One day i'll return and you all will regret what you have started mother, the next time you will see what i will become. I'll reclaim the Kenway name and you can't stop me mother." I looked back at her with anger and walked out of the castle.

All the three of us headed back to the butler tower where all the butlers reside. Eleanor opened the door and the other butlers greeted us and they noticed my bleeding hands and Eleanor's tears. They bandaged my hand and gave Eleanor a hug. One of the other butlers asked Eleanor. All she could mutter out. "I just got fired because I was with Mr Kenway and... and Lady Elizabeth just..." she couldn't finish the sentence. all the butlers got mad but they couldn't do anything in fear of losing their jobs. I went up the stairs to go up to my room to pack my stuff so I can leave tomorrow morning.
