Author's note: Just so you guys know I have vivid random dreams like this on the daily. But when I shared this dream with my mother she thought it was the most craziest thing I've ever said to her
So Chapter 1,
It was a sunny day, I standing in the middle of the beach, every family having fun, tending to their own matters. Children laughing, splashing in the water. Eating their packed lunches. The smell of the ocean was inticing, it felt like I've been gone for years. It was all shits and giggles then I felt something. An impulse as sure as the wind. Something was wrong, the sudden comforting feeling of the sand underneith my feet became like an irritant. The smell of the ocean became harsh and the laughter began to quite down.
Everyone was still having a good time, but it was as if they all went mute and the only sound was me and the crashing waves. I suddenly came to wonder were was my family, they love the beach. I looked down to my left to see my brother matthew burried in the sand, laughing but no sound came from him. My father setting up out umbrella beside him, my mother walking away to the little stores in the distant. Something involuntary as blinking and breathing, my legs began to move. I listen closer to the sound of the waves tumbling down, but even the sound of that began to halt. I started to worry my legs transfered to a full sprint towards the faint sound of water.
My sprint seemed to go on forever when I finall stopped dead in my tracks when I saw it. There is no way, its impossible. Everyone still laughing and playing in the careless sun, so sure of everything became someting unfimiliar to me. We were all doomed to die here. The wave, it stopped crashing, but in return it kept building and building itself higher and higher. How can no one else be scared of this? Why didn't any one see the danger in the growing wave. No one. No one noticed the wave. All the swimmers were being sucked up in the wave. The surfers took this oppertunity to catch the perfect wave.
A high pitch sounded as loud as a trumpet playing a high C in my ear. It stung, my ears felt as if they were going to burst. I fell to the floor feeling the hot sand sting my face. Finally the other people on the beach seemed to hear the sound as well and grabbed thier ears in pain. What is this? Who are you? What do you want? I let out a scream in pain. I got up and started running away from the wave to the city. The high pitch was like a message telling me they are coming, this something is coming for us. It was telling me to get my loved ones and wait by the little stores on the beach.
Thats when the sound came back. Everyone packing their important things, yelling for their family and children. Shouting it is time to leave. Men picking their children up by force and running towards their cars leaving their wives and other children behind. It was chaos, children crying for their parents; Adults trampling over other kids, crushing them to get away from the wave. I quickly looked around for my mother my brother and dad stayed where they were enjoying the sun. Laying on a towel like nothing was wrong. I don't care too much for them, but I had to find my mother, she was the only one that mattered to me. Everyone was pushing eachother, somehow a couple of the stores caught on fire. I ran towards the peir and found my mother drinking a smoothie.
"Mom we need to hurry, grab your things, we need to leave!"
"Why?"she looked at me dumbfounded and kept drinking her smoothie.
"Are you shitting me, you seriously don't see that big ass wave?" I glanced over only to make matters worse. The wave had trippled in size. It was now big enought to completely take down a heavily populated city.
"Please mom, I can't lose you. I don't want to die" I began to shake her and cry.
"Okay okay, lets go!" That was it. The whole city seemed to be empty. But randomly a few people still acting like everything is normal. Maybe those people were destined to die here. About ten minutes passed and my mother and I gathered our things and waited. Luckily we weren't the only ones that got the signal to wait for someone. They all looked confused as I did. A man and his two daughters, one black couple that seemed to be from outside the U.S, another couple that seemed to be here on vacation they looked like they were around twenty-six. An older man that looked very fit, like a soilder. Everyone else was a blur, they were all silent, I could literally taste the anxiety these people were sweating.
"Why don't we go back and join your father and brother, Hannah?" I had to restrain myself from hurting this woman, but I didn't respond to her.
Just in an instant it seemed this huge floating machine appeared out of no where. And the loud sound fluttered into our ears once again. The vessel was huge the color was black, black glass windows. Once the sound stopped several ladders dropped from the ship down towards us. Hundreds of the waiting people scurried up the ladder. The wave looked as if it were to crash at any minute.
Once inside, there were rows and rows for people to sit. Everthing is black, with huge windows to look down on. Everything is part of a plan. I don't know what it is but I fear we are all to die soon.Hello
