𝙏𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙚...

Darkness lurked outside my tent while I rest bound on the mattress. My eyes peer at my surroundings in disbelief but the reality was there. I was home. Immediately I rise up shifting around the cramped space searching for my loved ones only to find nothing.

I was alone and not even a frog's croak can be heard from the outside. It was dead silence until the tent flapped open. He then stood before me, King Zion.

What was he doing here? Did this man take my family and bring me here just to rub it in my face? Why is he coming towards me....

Back at the palace I took notice of how different Zion's appearance was from his kin. The orc was appallingly attractive. The creature did not possess the piggish snout that the others had, instead there was a hooked nose and sharp nose bridge. Shoulder length hair, thick brows and his skin mimicked the colour of forrest floor - earthy green.

His square jaw was stubbled and eyes like coal brimstones. Then there was his body which intrigued me most. Raging at nearly 7'2 which was taller than most of his kind by a couple feet, his body was flawed though. Out of all his kin Zion had the most pitiful figure.

Yes, the orc had a beefy muscled frame but not like the others. His biceps lacked brawn, his calfs were not thick like logs. Even a beer belly would increase his masculinity.

Yet now something was horrifyingly luring about Zion. Somehow we were face to face. His lust filled eyes nailed into me, the man's finger pulled my chin upwards forcing me to meet that gaze. Heat trickled down to my groan when his fingers moved to my ears fondling the sensitive flesh.

"Let me mate you, minx."

My body lifts off the bed and my fingers claw at the sheets. A pure scream escaped from my throat because of that night horror. How could I have dreamt of such a blasphemous thing. Dryness settles in my gums making me reach to the nightstand for the glass of water only to see it empty.

Only then I realised where I was. Thankfully not in the king's chambers but not back in the tent either. I was in the castle's infirmary.

Yesterday didn't go as planned. King Zion refused my demands of bringing me back. There was no escaping that man. To make matters worse I stabbed him, it was completely out of line for a 'peasant' like me to do such thing.

If anyone found out about this I would be punished mercilessly.

But could you have blamed me? I felt threatened after he reached for me, not wanting to accept that creature's touch I attacked him. Then while nearly successfully fleeing my ankle grassed against a sharp corner opening the flesh. And even after I cursed and abused him, he found it in himself to tend to my aid. The guilt trampled me like a horse.

Thinking the king probably hates me after all of that and would punish me I accepted the proposal. Well somewhat, I only gave him permission to court me if he had lifted the ban on resources. Which was delusional of me.

One, I was never going to accept his mating without courting first...it feels like I need atleast a year to adjust to this lifestyle. And two, King Zion most definitely wasn't considering my opinion even if we married. He was going to let my people suffer, nothing I can say will stop him.

Hopeless. I feel hopeless.

"The king ordered us to wait for you to awaken." A shrilled voice spoke. I haven't even seen the two persons standing in the corner watching me all this time. They looked like mere children, I'd say around fourteen - not to mention their face structures were identical. The only thing that drew them apart was that the boy had melanated splotched skin while his sister was completely pale.
