Light and Time
Everyone needs a bit of light,
I guess that I'm not that lucky.
No light, none to guide me through the night.
The scene in which you see is a bit mucky.
Time, another limited source, it's not forever.
Always ticking, always passing, it doesn't stop,
It never stands still, not at all, never.
It can climb, climb to the peak, to the top.
Light and time, so different, yet the same.
One can be stopped, one can't be stopped.
Limited and unlimited, two different things, two different names.
Always flickering, always ticking, light and time.
It helps to guide, yet it has a switch.
Light can help lead you where you need.
But, wait, isn't there a hitch?
People yearn for the light with greed.
Only time will tell what may happens.
No one can tell when the time is near,
Light and time, so same, yet so different.
Always, flickering, always ticking, light and time.
