Prologue: What Do you Do First?

The sun is rising...

What a night! You almost haven't slept a wink, and you definitely know why. Luckily, you're soon gonna be having a long, satisfying, and undisturbed sleep of fifty years! At least, it's a slightly scary thought. Personally, I think it's terrifying, but we're not talkin' about me here, we're talking about you!

Should I explain before you decide what to do? I'm thinking you're gonna want an explanation before you go on absoloutely crazy adventures!

SO, uuunrgh, how can I explain this to you, where do I start...?

AHA!

Soooo, the rulers of the world, each from a different part of earth, have decided that what's best is to put humanity in cryosleep for nothing more than fifty years...

Do you know what cryosleep is? DIDN'T THINK SO. (Sorry, I don't mean it like that!)

Here's what it basically is: an automatic preservance of your body in a human-glass container that could make you last for an utterly long time. Usually, it can make you last for thousands of years, but... people disagreed. In fact, many disagreed that humanity should be put in a container for a thousand years. Many things could go wrong with such a thing, but the rulers have more power, sooo... you're stuck with only this choice.

Actually, realistically, in our current time we have not found out how to wake people up from this basically eternal sleep... YET. You've been born ten years from our current time, but don't worry, you've got the same age as you do now. Scientists have finally found out how to activate this peaceful sleep and wake up at the end of this operation.

 I think it could be a good idea! It would allow the air to purify, the water become clearer, for nature to make the ultimate comeback, too! There might even be new types of plants appear!

For all of this not to be a disaster with the cities that've got cryosleep chambers in them but that are next to radioactive factories, rulers have decided to be lazy and not tear them down, but have robots take care of those.

Soo, that's my explanation for you, but, anyway, where was I with you? OH, RIGHT!

You wake up, yawn, stretch, the usual. You eat your breakfast. You look out of your house, realizing EVERYONE OF ANYONE  HAS ALREADY GONE! You look at your watch -OH, NO...- YOU SLEPT IN BECAUSE OF THE TERRIBLE NIGHT!! Quick, get a move on! Get to the car with your partner!

"Oh, no!" you howl in distress. "We're late!"

After a seemingly long drive full of traffic jams, (those people must have overslept as well), you arrive at the building which holds the precious chamber. Two robot guards armed with fire canon guns are guarding the door.

"GOOD LORD, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!" roars the manager with a tone in his voice that reminds you of the sound in thunder. "WE'VE BEEN WAITING REALLY LONG FOR YOU, ALL OF US! I'M GETTING INTO MY PART OF THE CHAMBER, AND YOU TWO BETTER HURRY UP BEFORE I PUSH THIE BUTTON THAT SEALS THE CONTAINERS, AND YOUR FATE!!!!!"

You feel intimidated, so you don't roll your eyes... but you really want to. This guy's always been really annoying!

You guys reach up to the reamaining two chambers. As you reach for the button that opens the thickly sealed glass door, there's a quick shock- the door's ALREADY CLOSED!!!! YOU START TO PLUNGE INTO AN EXTREME PANIC!!!!

You can see, the face of your friend looks extremely fantastically twisted, and definitely NOT IN A GOOD WAY.

Both of you scream in unison! HOW, and most importantly, WHY, DID THE DOOR CLOSE?!

Particularly you, after your brain allows you because of great shock, panic and suprise to snap out of it, you try desperately to open the cryosleep machine, but it's too late, the lights have already gone out!

You and your partner stare unconciously and open-mouthed at the hopeless sight of the machine. Both your passion has stopped burning...

Your partner's wits have not completely spat their final embers out, though. Your trusted friend or family member walks up to where the manager had gone...

He was nowhere to be seen.

They checked all the vaults; no sign of him. 

"Where would you suppose he's gone?" you ask worriedly.

"I dunno, he probably skipped town." says your partner.

"In a second?"

"..."

"..."

"What do we do now? Even if we can find a way to open it, it automatically won't work!" says your partner smartly with pride, but at the same time anxiously.

"We're not safe by ourselves!"

"Maybe there's another cryoseep chamber near here?"

"Well, even if we do, it's already too late... EVERYONE 's cryosleep chamber has been equally extremely and very strongly locked."

"The worst nightmare of any living person on earth has come true for us!!" panics your partner. "WE'RE GOING TO BE GROUND UP INTO SAUSAGES!!"

"Not if we have anything to say about it!" you say epically. "ARE WE GOING TO LIVE ANOTHER FIFTY YEARS OF INSANITY? NO! NOT ON MY WATCH!!" you say, slightly hesitantly.
