Wesley Sage. How I hated that boy. He and Harley were becoming very close, so I decided to make it my mission to be a menace to them this week. After getting breakfast I followed a group of people who don't like me down to the Old Porch and sat down on the bench next to Isaac. Jasmine, Harley, and Wesley all sat on the bench across from me and I just glared at Wesley the entire time, he had his arm up on the bench behind Harley's head and the look on her face said she was very aware of it. She kept laughing at everything he said and paying attention to everyone except me, and it made me want to strangle him. I finally intruded into the conversation "So Wesley, got any idea who you might ask on the hayride Wednesday?" I say loudly so everyone heard and stopped their conversations to listen. I got dirty looks from Jasmine and Leah but ignored them and just stared at Wesley with a quizzical look on my face. He quickly glanced at Harley, whose cheeks had turned a light shade of pink, then shrugged "I don't know man it's only Monday who knows what could happen" he said it so casually like he had prospects lined up, which wouldn't be surprising because the man was FINE. I looked back over at Harley who was whispering something to Jasmine who looked at me and laugh. It made me so mad I got up and stormed back up to the Mess Hall. Jasmine and I had always hated each other even when I was dating Harley, she always managed to sneak disapproving glances my way, but they weren't very sneaky. I heard her laughing as I got up and stalked away.

Later at sports time I had been put on the same team as Wesley and Hailey and scoffed as Wesley came over to talk to me. "Hey Skylar!" He said as he walked over to join me on the porch, our team was supposed to play cone ball, but I opted to sit out and watch from the bench. "Hey" I mumbled unenthusiastically as he sat down. We were playing against Jasmine's team, so I glanced over to see her and Hailey glaring at us. "I'm surprised you're not playing" I said glancing back over at Wes "This seems right up your alley being Mr. athletic and all" He laughed and gestured to his ankle "Can't play. I've got a bad ankle from playing baseball a few weeks ago" I glanced down to see he was wearing an ankle brace over his sock. "Mm that sucks" I say rolling my eyes slightly then turning my attention back to the field "You don't seem to like me very much" he remarked casually "Why is that?" I scoffed still not looking at him "I dunno" I lie, fully knowing it was because my absolutely amazingly breathtaking ex seemed to be interested in him. "Whatever man" he says as he stands up and walks over to join Hailey and Jasmine on the outside of the field.
