Episode 5: The Search For The Groups Of Digidestined! Once Again... (02XTamers)

"Seriously, we been fighting for thirty minutes" Mimi frowned slightly annoyed. "Just give up !" She shouted. "You give up! You are the ones who interfered" Reapermon turn towards the children. "You're not my target, the one known as Ken, is the one I must seek and destroy" Reapermon say raising his scythe like hand. "And that's not going to happen !" Matt frowned, with an unamused look. "Matt's right, we'll never let you harm Ken, let alone get close to him !" Tai exclaimed, clenching his fist.  "Sorry, but I never fail to complete my missions" Reapermon says firmly. "Who sent you?" Tai questioned. "No need to know you'll only be destroyed anyways" Reapermon laughed, preparing to attack. "You wish, you bag of bones and .. Ermm with robot parts" Mimi place her hands on her hip. Reapermon sighed before a dark aura surrounded him. "Play time is over! Enough of this pointless chit chat, I must dispose of you brats and carry on my order!". "Be careful you guys, this doesn't look good." Izzy frowned witnessing Reapermon's terrifying energy. "Vulcan Hammer !" Zudomon charged with his hammer. "Phoenix Claw !" Garudamon attacked on the opposite side. Reapermon managed to block both attacks with his scythe. " Reapermon laughed. "Is this truly the best you can do?" He taunted the two Ultimate leveled digimon. "Horn Buster" MegaKabuterimon charged towards Reapermon. "Burning Cyclone" Reapermon attacks spinning rapidly sending the three Ultimates flying. They were sent crashing toward respective parts of the city. "Flower Cannon !" Lillymon green blast struck Reapermon's back. "I'll clip your wings" He turned around towards her very annoyed. "Uh oh!" Lillymon shrieked, backing away slowly. "Hey, over here !" WarGreymon called, causing Reapermon to turn around slightly. "Metal Wolf Claw !" MetalGarurumon froze Reapermon in his tracks. "Good job, MetalGarurumon !" Matt shouts impressed with his partner digimon. "Now for the finisher" WarGreymon flew up spinning. "Great Tornado" He launches at the frozen solid Reapermon. He tore through him and left a hole in him. "H-how dare you !" He says, trying to keep from dispersing into data bits. "Finish him !" Tai yelled. "Flower Cannon !" Lillymon says a green ball of energy launched from her flower-like cannon. "Vulcan Hammer !" Zudomon slammed his hammer to the ground sending a yellow energy beam. "Horn Buster !" MegaKabuterimon horn electrified before sending a blast of electrical energy. "Wing Blade !" Garudamon engulfed in flames before releasing a flame bird. "Giga Missile !" MetalGarurumon send a missile from his chest. "Terra Force !" WarGreymon concentrated a ball of energy from the atmosphere in the palms of his hands before sending it towards Reapermon. All attacks hit and caused a huge explosion, obliterating Reapermon. "And thats that !" Mimi sighed in relief. "Yeah, but don't you think that was over kill?" Sora asked with a sweat drop. "I agree, that was a bit much" Joe scratched the back of his head at the destroyed area where Reapermon was destroyed at. "Yeah, but the more important question is still who sent him?" Izzy questioned nonchalantly typing away at his laptop. "How come everyone is always after Ken, is he that famous and popular?" Joe asked jokingly. "Joe.." Sora rolled her eyes before looking back at the others. "Anyways.." Matt says with a frown. "We have to catch up and go warn and help the others" Matt looked towards Tai. "Yeah, let's get going guys... We also need to find who's the mastermind behind all of this." He looked toward his team. The digivolved digimon dedigivolved, and landed by their partners. "Maybe Gennai knows" Agumon walked towards Tai. "Yeah !" Biyomon agreed. "Good theory, but I doubt it" Izzy typed on his laptop. "Just try, he may have some info or hint" Tentomon says. "Fine fine !" Izzy typed away. "It'll really help if he does." Sora says rubbing Biyomon's head. "Yeah, we need all the help we can get" Matt nodded. "Alright guys here goes" Izzy warned. The group gathered around Izzy. "I think we should go to my room" Izzy sweat dropped being crowded. "It wouldn't be wise to be out in the open. "Right !" Everyone nodded agreeing. The gang finally made it to his room. "Ahh, all better its not as crowded" Gomamon stretched. "Yeah.." Palmon and Mimi stretched on Izzy's bed laying down. " Izzy, have you gotten through to Gennai yet ?" Tai asked impatiently. Izzy's laptop beeped before a big flash occurred sucking everyone in. They looked around and notice they were in Gennai's home. "We're in the digital world" Gabumon observed. "This place looks familiar, its Gennai's home !" Agumon added. "Hello, my friends." Gennai appeared from a door. "Gennai" Everyone jumped. "Any developments ?" Izzy asked. "Unfortunately no.." Gennai shook his head with a frown. "Well, we do know that their objective is capturing Ken" Tai says. "Strange.." Gennai says with a puzzled look. "Who else could be after Ken ?". "Maybe its Arukenimon and Mummymon again. "Joe thought. "No they're merely flunkies, oh don't tell me it's MaloMyotismon again." Izzy thought. "I doubt it .. We finished him off for good." Sora reassured. "Well..." Matt interjected" There is a digimon TK told me about who was after Ken at one point. I think he was called Daemon" Matt says trying to remember back. "Could it be him ?" Gabumon questioned Gennai. "Oh yeah, Kari mentioned that to me too. Though she said they vanished him to the Dark Ocean"  Tai remembered. "No, we would have known if the gate to the Dark Ocean was opened." Gennai debunked the questions. "Perhaps it's a digimon he know before we met him, remember he was a digidestined around the time you guys were so there's no telling if he ran into an evil digimon or not." Gennai sighed. "That's a possibility..." Izzy frowned lost in thought. "Well at this rate we're not getting anywhere! I say we find the others with our luck we'll bound to find out sooner or later!" Sora says to the group. "Sora is right! I wonder if Davis and the others find the other group of digidestined" Joe asked. "That'll make things easier and we can beat this evil digimon once and for all." "Yes, I have received word that they did" Gennai nodded in confirmation. "Good job, you guys" Mimi says pumped up in excitement. "That means we better find them and fast, none of us have any developments and who knows if the next enemy will be even stronger than Reapermon." Joe says restating Sora's original statement. "I can teleport you near them but not an exact location for some reason they split up." Gennai says looking at the tracking signal. "Than split us up, two per each location" Tai spoke seeing how there are 3 different signals. "Yeah, something tells me they can use our help" Agumon says to Tai. "Wait, so how are we paring up?". Biyomon questioned. "It's six of us, two of our digimon can reach the mega level and the rest the Ultimate level". Izzy pointed out. "Simple, Me and Sora, Tai and Mimi, and Joe and Izzy" Matt says walking towards Sora. "Since Gabumon aned Agumon can reach the mega level we can protect the girls". Matt nodded. "Great, so if me and Izzy come across a Mega level digimon then we're toasted" Joe shuttered. "Fine Joe since you wanna be a little baby, I can go with Izzy and you can go with Tai" Mimi says unimpressed. Tai and Izzy sweat dropped as Joe was clearly offended. "Are you sure Mimi?" Izzy asked her. "Yeah, I'm sure we'll be fine, and I know you wouldn't want to be annoyed by Joe complaining" Mimi teased with a reassuring smile. Izzy chucked with a slight blush. "No worries we'll protect you guys! Right Tentomon?" Palmon smiled. "Right and I'll fly us out of danger if need be" Tentomon responded. "Hey, I do not complain!" Joe says before going on a tangent and Gomamon tries to calm him down. "Now, now!" Sora says getting the group back in order, "Yeah we have to get a move on." Matt frowned before turning to Gennai who was sweat dropping the whole time. "Alright then! Now that that's settled! Get ready and fasten your seat belts kiddos" Gennai held his hand towards the group. "Here we go !" Mimi and Palmon says bracing themselves as a light surround the group and they vanished. 

***Author's Note: Goodness xD I have been resurrected from the requests I received to complete this story. It's been years since I have been on Wattpad along with writing on here as well. I'm currently in my senior year of college, but I'll try my very best to be consistent and update this story, along with others! This chapter has been in the drafts this whole time, I tried my best to edit the many horrifying errors and grammar flaws it had. Hope you enjoy the chapter even though it's shorter than usual. To be honest I forgot the direction of the story, however I reread everything I had up to this point (and cringed at the many many maaany spelling and grammatical errors xD Oh GOD 14-15 year old me really could have done better) I have a general understanding now.  I'll try to create a story board and figure out where to go from here. I also have to rewatch Digimon Tamers to get back familiarized with the mechanics of it along with characters such as Ryo and Cyberdramon. I also would like to point out that with the new Digimon content that has came out over past few years, it may conflict the contents of the story, so please consider this as a different continuity, it is a fanfiction after all!
