Chapter 6 - Many Cameras!

"Actually, the boy is a very principled person. As long as he and his childhood friend, Sakura Airi, are not provoked, there will be no issue."

"..." The grandmother remained silent, feeling uneasy at the thought of such a daunting presence like Shimizu Yuto among her granddaughter's peers. The boy was simply a wolf in sheep's clothing.

"Cough cough, in fact, aside from Shimizu Yuto with a violent past, there are several other delinquent youths among the new students, mostly distributed in Classes C and D," Principal Sakayanagi said with a cough.

The grandmother was even more stunned; one youth with a violent tendency was bad enough, but there were even more among the new students!

This is Tokyo Metropolitan Advanced Nurturing High School, not a correctional facility for juveniles! The grandmother was suddenly very worried about the wellbeing of her granddaughter.

Seeing the grandmother's numb expression, Principal Sakayanagi changed the subject, "Mother, I believe it wasn't Sakura Airi who quickly realized the existence of points, but Shimizu Yuto, who is exceptional in every aspect except teamwork."

"It doesn't matter anymore... I just hope Shimizu Yuto doesn't cross paths with my granddaughter. Arisu can't deal with him."

"He won't, he shouldn't... I hope so."

Principal Sakayanagi and the grandmother fell into a brief silence, well aware that their child, Sakayanagi Arisu, greatly enjoyed challenging the strong and relishing the joy of defeating them.

So, if Shimizu Yuto were to stand out, Sakayanagi Arisu would definitely take notice of him and test him out...

"Anyway, I still think Shimizu Yuto is a good kid. He won't cause unnecessary trouble!"

At this moment, the 'good kid' determined by Principal Sakayanagi, was contemplating how to... well, Yuto was actually thinking about how to acquire private points!

One by one, the bus arrived at the entrance of Tokyo Metropolitan Advanced Nurturing High School, and the first-year students, including Shimizu Yuto, gradually disembarked, looking towards the school entrance.

The school gate, crafted from natural rock and adorned with countless exquisite reliefs, radiated majesty and solemnity.

Following behind Yuto, Sakura Airi looked towards the distant school area, her heart filled with nervousness and anticipation for the upcoming school where she and Yuto would spend the next three years.

"Let's go, Airi," Yuto said casually.

"Okay..." Airi responded in an almost inaudible voice.

As the first-year students in uniforms made their way to the school entrance, Airi didn't keep her distance from Yuto; she followed behind him like a dutiful wife.

At the school entrance, four faculty members were distributing orientation guides to Yuto and the other first-year students.

The guide indicated that at 9 a.m., the first-year students should gather in the gymnasium for the opening ceremony.

Additionally, the guide provided information about the island and the location of various buildings and facilities.

Entering the school, Yuto browsed through the orientation guide, which included a small map detailing the dormitories, academic buildings, gymnasium, and many entertainment venues such as karaoke, cinemas, cafes, shopping centers, super markets, etc.

"This place feels more like a small commercial district than a school," Yuto remarked lightly.

"Mm-hmm," Airi nodded, echoing his sentiment from behind.

"Airi, look around and see if there are too many cameras," Yuto observed, scanning the surroundings.

With his keen observational skills, Yuto noticed an unusually high number of surveillance cameras throughout the school.

The cameras seemed to monitor every corner of the school, much like the Byakugan in the world of "Naruto," covering every nook and cranny of the school area.

Yuto's comment drew Airi's attention away from the guide, and she also noticed the numerous cameras around them.

"There really are a lot of cameras... it's kind of annoying," Airi murmured with some discomfort.

Most people dislike being under constant surveillance, especially someone as shy as Airi.

Moreover, Airi had another identity as 'Shizuku,' a blog idol and internet model, often carrying a camera to take selfies in secluded spots.

With so many cameras in the school area, Airi lost the desire to take selfies.

"With so many cameras, we'll have to be careful about what we do in the future," Yuto mused to himself.

Airi, startled by his comment, quickly grabbed the hem of Yuto's school uniform, earnestly advising, "Yuto, you can't be reckless!"

"Me, reckless? I'm not some hotheaded delinquent," Yuto reassured her with a hearty smile, which fluttered Airi's heart, her cheeks blushing slightly as she continued, "Just don't be reckless like you were in junior high, I... I'll worry about you."

"Alright, alright, I got it," Yuto replied nonchalantly, causing Airi to pout slightly.

Her childhood friend, her determined future husband, was indeed a troublesome character...

At 9 a.m., the time for the school's opening ceremony, Yuto and Airi had arrived at the gymnasium, lining up in their designated spots according to their class order.

With boys and girls in separate lines, Airi felt her spot was excellent; she only needed to shift her gaze slightly to clearly see Yuto's tall figure.

As Yuto stood there, ignoring the meaningless speech spoken by the school directors above, his attention was on observing the new students standing in front of him.

His mind-reading ability and sharp observational skills had made it a habit for Yuto to observe others around him.

What caught Yuto's attention the most was a girl standing not far in front of him.

The girl had long black hair reaching her waist, with a braided plait on the right side tied off with a white butterfly knot, standing upright with a dignified and stern posture.

Just by looking at her back, Yuto guessed she was someone with a difficult, aloof personality.

Horikita Suzune seemed to notice someone sizing her up from behind; she turned her head and looked back at Yuto with an expressionless face.

Horikita Suzune's turning allowed Yuto to clearly see her face.

The girl had a delicate beauty comparable to Airi's, with long eyelashes framing a pair of orange eyes that were as captivating as a fox, filled with charm and allure.
