Episode 10
Minji's pov <
It was the next day and I was the first to wake up, usually i help wake up Haerin on her work days like today. I walked to her room as quietly i can possibly be, but as i reached her room it felt unusual since there usually soft music emitting from the room. I knocked, no answer..Is she not in the room?'
I opened the door ever so slightly and peeked in, surprisingly I was right there was no Haerin in sight. I sneaked into the dark room, a buzz was heard under her covers. Inspecting it, and it was just her phone with her alarm ringing out. "Where is she if she's not in here.?" I muttered to myself before making up possibilities on where she could be, I then remember that Dani yesterday said something about a promise with her. Could she be with Dani?
I leave the room and shut the door without making a single noise that could wake up the others, I beelined to Dani's room. Stopping infront made me realize there was light coming from it, I turned the doorknob and entered silently. "mhm.." Somehow someone heard that but it didn't wake them up fully and the weird thing was that it wasn't Dani, i turned my gaze to the bed. And my scenario actually was right, there she was laying on top of my boss while burrowing her head in the neck crack. I smirked at the sight and took out the phone that i had on me, a click sound was heard and I instantly panicked if they would wake up from it. "hrm..?" A raspy deep voice groaned out sitting up from the bed and looked at me with half lidded eyes with blurry vision, "the fuck you doing here.?" Danielle spoke up in a flat monotone voice. I mentally facepalmed and nervously laugh the awkwardness away.
"Min?" She vocalized out as she now has clear vision and is looking straight at me with a Haerin on her lap hugging her still, "Yes.?" I nervously replied to my still sleepy boss. "Why are you here?" She asked me, which I reluctantly replied to "I was confused why Haerin wasn't in her room so-, this was the second place in mind that she would be.." I explained to the girl, with the most akward smile ever known to human life. "Mhm..k, you can go now.." She ordered me and as usual I obliged and left the room hastily but soundlessly,
"I think I have a new mission.."
Danielle's pov <
Hearing the door shut closed shut, i realized what the weight on my lap was. Wait huh.?' My head spun around trying to remember as i lay back down to make the girl more comfortable, memories was blurry but it all came back to me;
-
"Please promise me, you'll be more careful next time.." She whispered to me with a hurtful voice that would pierce someones heart, she held me close but it was already late. "Haerin I promise but, it's 1am. You need to go to sleep.." I tried to persuade her but to no avail, she held me tighter. "I don't want to leave you." She stated with a stern voice, I lay down back on the bed accepting defeat.
The two of us stayed there in complete silence and not moving an inch, "am i heavy?" she suddenly asked that question out of all the things she could've. "Light as a feather.." I responded as i too wrap my hands around the smaller girl, the room was cold but being with her this close made it warm. Even if we didn't talk it was still comforting especially for me, i needed this after all what happened just hours ago. A yawn was let out by Haerin as i giggled at the sleepy girl "Just sleep, I won't go anywhere." and just like i said, i didn't move an inch when she was starting to fall asleep.
Soon she was out cold with her head burrowed in my neck, as i was still awake I have really fallen for her huh.?' thoughts ran through but they were right. I actually have fallen for the girl, really hard. Hopelessly I combed Haerin's hair soothingly, hoping I would go into slumber faster. And the wish was granted as I rest soundlessly and cuddling with the girl.
