Killing The Business (The Youngest Buck)

Worst First Week Back

It was the middle of the day when Matt got a call from the school 

Principal-"Hi is this Matt Massie?"

Matt-"Yes this is, may I ask who's calling?"

Principal-"This is the school principal, I see that your parents are out of town, we called your brother Nick and he is on his way, Jessica got into a little fight today, since your parents aren't in town I would like to speak to both you and Nick if that's okay".

Matt-"Oh my gosh, of course I will be there shortly thank you for calling".

After Matt gets off the phone he grabs his keys, then heads to the school, he picks up Dana along the way, once they get there they see Nick waiting for them

Nick-"Did he tell you what happend?"

Matt-"All he said was a fight".

Dana-"I hope it wasn't too bad".

They head into the school, they head to the reception desk and tell the lady why they are here she takes them to the office and, when they go in they see Jessica doing her school work with a cut on her lip, Nick walks over to her

Nick-"Baby what happend?"

Jessica-"I was walking and someone tripped me, I tried to get back up, but they pushed me down, I kicked them in the leg". (starts to cry)

Principal-"She isn't in trouble in any way, we saw the camera, the other student who was involved has already been sent home, I thought I would call the both of you to talk".

Matt-"About what exactly?"

Principal-"The other kids have been going around making fun of Jessica because of your guys' job".

Nick-"I told you Matt". (hugs Jessica tighter)

Dana-"What are they saying exactly?"

Principal-"They've been calling the boys names, also Jessica, making fun of when they aren't going to be home, and well I guess you can tell by her face what else happend".

Nick-"Is there any way we can pull her out of school for the rest of the week, and have her work at home, we will talk to our parents".

Principal-"I was actually going to suggest homeschool maybe, so this issue can go away".

Jessica-"What about Colt, Mikey, and Clair?"

Dana-"You'll still be able to see them hun, just not in school". (kisses her head)

Matt-"Thank you again for calling us, our parents should be back tomorrow and we will talk to them".

Principal-"I already called them to let them know the situation, that's when they told me to call you guys".

Nick-"Thank you again, come on baby let's go home and get that lip cleaned".

Jessica-"Okay". (sniffles)

Nick picks her up, Matt takes her backpack, Dana gets her work for the rest of the week from the receptionist then they head out of the school, Nick puts Jessica in his car along with her backpack, Matt and Dana follow him to the house, once they get there Matt helps Jessica out of the car and carries her inside the house, they go to the bathroom, he sets her on the counter while he gets stuff to clean her lip

Matt-"This is going to sting peanut okay?"

Jessica-"Okay". (sniffles)

Nick grabs her hand while Matt dabs her lip, she winces a little, after Matt is done he puts oitment on the wound

Matt-"There all better". (wraps her in his arms)

Jessica starts to cry, Matt carries her into the living room and they sit on the couch, Nick comes over and sits down
