Cathys POV
"AJ who is him?" I asked
"Oh he is my friend more than my best friends we were like brothers"
"Oh I know he----"
"He was the one who crashed against my moms car" AJ said cutting me off
"Oh" was the only thing I managed to say before his dad came to view.
"How's your toe?" He asked "it hurts a little but not too much" I shrugged
"Let me see" he said
I just extended my leg for him to check it up. I tried to just not think too much about how soft AJ's bed is.
"It looks like you just made a bad step that's all nothing to worry about"he said calmly while he wrapped a bandage around my toe.
"Well that's good" I breathed out
"So we are leaving. Soel is here" AJ said
"Oh tell your mom I said hi" he said well that was weird from where does my mom know such man?
Oh well I'll Ask her later.

"Okay" I said and smiled at him before he headed out the door leaving me with mr badass.

"Cmon lets go" he told me again
"Okay" I said not really wanting to meet his gaze

We walked down the stairs. Well i actually jumped. When we got down to the first floor Soel came to my view.

"What happened to you?" "And why were you two out in the forest at this late at night?
Oh did I forget to mention my brother is very........protective.

"1 I fell 2 we were just appreciating the view of the entire city" I said as casual as possible
"Sure" he said under his breath
"Chill man she's not my type" AJ said
"Good" Soel said
"Oooookay can we go already in tired" I complained. Not wanting to touch the subject about me not being his type. It hurts. Words cut deeper than a knife.
"See you around" my brother said to AJ
"See ya" he said to both of us.

My brother and I arrived home just to find my mom eating for us.
"Hey kids what's up?" She said oh and about my mom she's cool. She's like my best friend though we barely have conversations.
"Hey!" Soel and I say in unison
"What happened to you sweetie"
Concern reflecting on her face
"You know just tried to walk and chew gum at the same time" I said sarcastically
"She fell" Soel chucked out
"Oh" my madre said
"I wanted to talk to you two about something" she said scratching the back of her neck
"What is it?" We said in unison. Again.
" I know it's gonna be about two years that you after died and well... Would you two give me permission to have a boyfriend?" She said nervously
"Mom it's okay with us we know it was difficult for you to lose dad and all we want is for you to be happy" Soel said

They both looked at me waiting for my answer.
"Umm if he loves and respects you the way you deserve then that's totally fine with me" I said giving her a hug. Soel joined us.
I suddenly remembered what Jason said about saying hi. To my mother.

"Jason Ajs dad said hi" I said after we pulled away. My mom just smiled.
"Karolyn is waiting for you" she said
"K goodnight" I said to both of them.

I walking down the hall that would lead up to my room. To say that my room is right in front of my brother's room.
I was suddenly grabbed by my forearm making me to stop.
I turn around to see Soel.
"What?" I hissed
"What? My ass. You didn't fuck with my best friend did you?" He was being a jerk.
"No. And if I did I wouldn't tell you" I said
"Cathy I'm not doing this because im a jerk or anything. he's a jerk,player, and he doesn't do romance. I don't want you to get hurt okay?" I love my brother. He advises me. Bout boys specially.
"Okay thanks for the tips love ya brotha goodnight" I said after hugging him.
" Love you too!" He said

I opened the door to see my friend laying on my bed talking on the phone.
Wonder how her mini date with Matt went?
When she saw me she said her goodbyes and smiled at me.

"Sooo how did it go with you two?" I asked and she blushes.
"It went fine" she said. She was blushing hard.
"Just fine?" I questioned
"Okay it was AMAZING!!" She squealed
"Haha okay. You like him don't you?" I asked her
"Yeah a little. I mean he isn't the jerk-like type of guy yet he's the cocky-like type. He is hot and he does everything Anthony wouldn't" okay let me tell you she is completely in love with this Matt dude.

"What did you guys do?" Karolyn asked
"He's a total jerk" I retorted
"Ahh why so?"
"Well he is annoying and he isn't sweet or anything and he most likely has a girlfriend so I don't get why he even asked me to go out with him tonight" I answered
"Well what did you expect the most popular guy who can have any girl he wants the badass he isn't going to be sweet. you're the good girl type" she finished

Maybe I am too good maybe I should be more like a bitch sometimes.
"You're right" I told her
