Raven vs. Phoenix

~Akane's Pov~
I punched at the wall and left a hole in the wall unintentionally. "Damn it." I mumbled. I walked back towards my room silently and layed on my bed. "That actually kind of hurt." I hissed taking off my corset a huge bruise on my back. I put on a pair of pajama shorts and a black tank top before going back to sleep not wanting Senji or Toto to worry about me.
~The Next Day~
I woke up and stretched out staring at the wall in front of me and heard a knock on my door I quickly layed down and mumbled a small come in. Senji walked in wearing an eye patch. "Morning sunshine." He said and I kept my back against the wall as I stared at him. "Are you gonna be alright?" I asked him and he nodded. "I'll be fine Akane." He said before walking closer to me. My back hit the cold wall and I hissed lightly. Senji looked at me questioning and I smiled at him. "What's wrong Akane?" He asked me sternly. I looked down and he mad me turn over himself letting out a small gasp. He stared at the black and purple bruise on my back and tapped it lightly hearing a hiss of pain. "Stop that hurts Senji." I whined. Toto walked in the door and gasped at my back staring accusingly at Senji. "I didn't do it I was trying to figure out how it happened." Senji said raising his hands in defense. "Akane what happened?" Senji asked sternly and I just shoved my face into my pillow. "Akane please tell us how you got hurt?" Toto asked sweetly and I looked at him. "Last night I went to the rec room like I always do and well woodpecker walked in and asked for some tips since I sorta destroyed the punching bag again." I started and they nodded for me to continue. "Well his little friend came along and when I tripped him I sorta used my body to keep him from getting hurt." I said quickly and they both stared at me before shaking their heads lightly. "You have a match tonight you shouldn't be getting yourself hurt." Senji scolded and I gave a small nod. "Yeah sure." I mumbled getting up and walking over to my dresser and opening it to find an outfit for today. I finally decided on a blue and black corset with a pair of red shorts. I pushed the two boys out and changed quickly before walking out of my room to see the two staring Toto seemed to be more focused on my outfit like usual. "You look cute as always." He complemented. "Tonight if I lose it don't stop me till the match is over." I mumbled to them walking to the cafeteria. We walked into the cafeteria and I stared at a girl with long black hair sitting in the back. I smiled at her and grabbed a small tray of food before sitting next to her. "Hey newbie right?" I questioned and she nodded silently. I smiled lightly at her and motioned Toto and Senji over. "Silent type huh?" I asked and she only nodded. "I'm Akane the Phoenix." I introduced showing her my hand to shake it. "Names Rin I'm the Raven." She said continuing to eat.
"That's nice I hope we have a good match tonight." I said smiling at her lightly. She nodded and I stood up grabbing my bread off the tray then leaving while the other two stayed there confused. I walked back to my room and stared at the mirror silently. "Cute huh?" I questioned looking myself over in the mirror before shrugging and laying in my bed deep on thought taking a bite out of my bread. "Definitely not at all." I murmured shoving the rest of the bread in my mouth and then turning over to take a nap while I waited for my name to get called for the battle.
~The Battle Arena 3rd person Pov~
The two girls stood in their cages and stared at each other as the doors were opened. "Sorry if I don't give you a chance to live girly." Akane said laughing lightly. Rin stared at her and then ran towards Akane only to be swiftly dodged her feet coming out from under her. She cut into her skin with a blade ring a bit like crow's but it was a gold instead of silver and her arm had a scythe form from her blood. Akane walked closer and Rin swung at her quickly only to have Akane swiftly dodge and reflect it with her body letting herself get cut up. Letting out a small sigh of dissapointment Akane formed a blade in her palm and stabbed at the other girl hitting her multiple times. "I don't play games." Akane said before she went into a fit of giggles her eyes flashing different colors until settling on a clouded blood red. Rin sliced at Akane once more and that's when Akane flipped out running at the little raven and gripping Rin's head tight in her palm before hearing the girl scream in agony as Akane crushed the smaller female's skull. The painful agony went on for a few more minutes until Rin's body stopped moving blood seeping through her head. Akane giggled before it turned into evil laughter. She started tearing at the limbs blood splattering everywhere and the blade not in Akane's palm any more. Her laughter continued to ring out as a few guards were sent in to take care of her only to end up with the same fate as the little raven that lay on the ground motionless. More guards entered area and seized Akane attempting to hold her still long enough to give her a sedative. As the world darkened for Akane she saw the mess of blood around the arena ashamed in herself that she lost it again.
