It's a different kind of pain,
when you're heart is crying,
yet your eyes are not.
It's a different kind of pain,
when your heart is screaming,
yet your mouth could not.
It's a different kind of pain,
when you want to drown your sorrows away,
yet your body swam instead.
It's a different kind of pain,
when you keep pouring water on a glass,
you're aware that's full of holes.
It's a different kind of pain,
when you have to keep on holding on
to a rose that is full of thorns.
And it's a different kind of pain,
when you still have to keep smiling
even when you are dying inside.
