Some Things Just Fall Apart

Warning there's some violence in this chapter

FLASHBACK!!!

 When the cat entered the room, he found it beautiful with sunlight hitting every single thing in the boys room, like his train set, plants and his small collection of Jurassic World Dinosaur Card which glowed brilliantly in the sunlight with a turtle in a cage soaking it all up, easy prey makes everything  great, it leaped onto the boy's desk, where a computer sat there, accidentally knocking off some small dino toys in the process and stared into the shelled lizards cage, it pounced on top and began to open it

It was easy, like stealing-

"Seriously Dad! You gotta see this!" Darius barged into the room with a smile, before he saw the cat on Dino, Danno and Sue's cage "Tabby! Get out!" 

Tabby took the warning and bolted between Darius's fathers legs, he chuckled as he looked behind him to see the cat disappear into the shade before he closed the door.

"So... what did you want to show me?" Fredrick Bowman asked his son, who was turning on his computer, on the screen showed some sort of paleo media forum, with an image of sauropods like Seismosaurus crushing a dinosaur with its foot being the first sight Fredrick saw  and then text only posts about recent paleontological discoveries.

"Someone just posted Dr Alan Grant's latest article to the Paleomedia Forums! And apparently theres all this new evidence on craniofacial biting on theropods!" Darius excitedly said as he found the article, which opened with an image of two T Rexes viciously fighting.

"Well that means theropods didn't just fight to kill, they fought for dominance, for power, its rather-" Fredrick replied

"And even for fun! Uh, it's...it's the next paragraph down" Darius chuckled nervously. 

Fredrick laughed " Darius let your old man read, I sacrificed my hand for this" he pushed Darius.

"Its gonna be so cool to see the theropods fight in Jurassic World!" Darius exclaimed.

"We'll get there soon enough kid" Fredrick then held up a box in his hands, they then stood up and sat on the bed "Well... I was gonna give you this later but... Theres no time like the present for a present! DUN-DUN!!!"

Fredrick opened the box to show identical achillobator teeth bracelets .

"WOW!!! Matching Achillobator claws?! Darius smiled and gasped "This is so cool!!" 

Darius put it around his neck and handed the other to his father. His father held the tooth in his hands, which began to shake chaotically and randomly. Fred then moved it away.

"Are you okay?" Darius asked, worried.

"I'm fine... Just a little... tired" Fred regained control of his hand, they hugged "Don't worry, we're going to Jurassic World and its gonna be amazing, not just because of the lizards... because we'll be there"

The two then put their dromeosaurid teeth together and smiled.

2015!!!

Darius woke up and put on his clothes. Everyone else was gone, leaving him alone in the semi darkness of early afternoon, the scent of flowers fresh in the air and the beautiful looking patchwork of light, the only thing missing was the sounds of the dinosaurs, strange, they usually blare their vocal cords every twenty seconds. 

Darius left the dormitory and stepped on the woolly carpet and went to the breakfast bar where everyone was waiting, eating eggs, cookies, milk and meat and plenty of other stuff. 

"Mornin'" They said to him, boredom in their tone.

"Not in a good mood I guess" Darius grumbled as he grabbed some eggs and cookies.
