I wish I had a home where family sit together to have a meal and not avoid each other.I wish I had a home where we all sit down to talk about our day with smiles on our faces.
I wish I had a home where I didn't have to think hard for the last time I've been hugged by my parents.
I wish I had a home where families don't have favorites and treat others like outcasts.
I wish I had a home I could talk to friends about and have them wish they were a part of.
I wish I had a home that taught me how to love myself and not look at the mirror thinking I was weird.
I wish I had a home where I could happily sing " Like my father loves my mom." and mean it.
I wish I had a home that taught me to hold my head high and face the world.
I wish I had a home where I could ask my Dad for a dance and we would jokingly dance with smiles on our faces.
I wish I had a home that taught me that I could be what I wanted to be.
I wish I had a home that loved me when I had nothing and did not cast me off.
I wish I had a home that didn't make me wish to be part of someone else's family.
I wish I had a home where I was taught that family will always be there for you.
I wish I had a home that taught me building up my walls wasn't the solution, now I have then up high and they're not coming down.
I wish I had a home to start a happy morning, not to run from every morning.
Sadly I don't, but I wish I did.
