For Francis_FanFictions & Izzy_Existence
...I'm about to sound really formal. 🥲
Also, these naturally formatted like story ideas, so... sorry about that.
~
Here's the list of ideas I started with:
- Spy at school/spies and secret agents
- Daemons and/or demons
- Different powers
- Androids
- Kingdoms
- Demon (inside)/bounty hunters
- Supernatural hunters
- U-/dystopia
- Modern with magic/gods awakening
- Room-/housemates
- Pop star/idol in disguise
- Tomb raider >:)
- Purgatory >:D
- Past lives/afterlife/reincarnation
- Soulmates
- Role reversal~
Here's what I actually elaborated on:
Proposal #1: Spies and Secrets
This one's on the more realistic side, a combination of school and spy aspects. 🤔
To sum it up, Gow works for a secret spy agency run by the would-be gods and goddesses (made up of other OCs of Izzy's). They locate and recruit Mobians with powers to help them in their work against the local evil scientist, Doctor Ivo Robotnik. However, their "recruiting" methods, kept secret from outsiders and agents alike, involve wiping the memory of new agents to ensure their loyalty. That means they don't remember anything outside of the agency, but they've never questioned it. It's just their life.
Sonic, other CCs, Savage, and other OCs of Francis' don't know about this agency. They're students at the local school. Savage, however, has noticed that the people he knows (who all have powers/abilities/something special about them) are disappearing. He's been keeping track of all the facts and trying to figure out who's taking them.
This is where the... story idea format comes in. 😓
Gow receives a mission to spy on Savage (and his developing powers) by infiltrating his school in disguise as a student (hence the outfit and eye color (colored contacts) change in the picture). She has three months to get close to him and gain his trust before recruiting him. Savage, a bit of an outcast without his former friends/allies, helps Gow get used to the school. They become friends. Savage eventually trusts Gow enough to bring her to his home and explain how he's the only one noticing how people have been disappearing. Gow recognizes some of the pictures he has and realizes that it's the spy agency that has taken the Mobians. Gow starts to question why she has no memories from before her life with the spy agency. She begins to feel conflicted about "recruiting" Savage.
Hope this gives an idea of the conflict in the AU.
Proposal #2: Divine Bond
I decided to go the wild route with this one and combine the tomb raider (sort of–), modern with magic/gods awakening, and reincarnation ideas. 😈
The AU would be a world where the gods and goddesses are more deities rather than agents. They haven't died, per se, but sort of fell into a deep sleep. This could be because people stopped believing in them. What remains of them, their essences, are kept in a temple deep in a forest.
Coincidentally, while exploring a forest, Savage finds a temple with "Touch Nothing" (sound familiar?) written in Latin on the outside. But, not being able to read Latin, Savage decides to explore the temple. He finds it's some sort of shrine, maybe even a tomb, for gods. A specific statue/memorial catches his eye. When he touches it, the essence of the goddess (Gow) embedded in it kind of comes alive and attaches to him. The visible part of the curse is that Gow is "reincarnated" and that there's a matching color change in one eye for both Savage and Gow, symbolizing their connection. The invisible part of the curse is that Savage and Gow are now bonded and can't be too far away from each other.
Savage has to help Gow blend in with society (explaining the outfit change in the picture) and figure out how to resolve the curse. On the way, they might become friends or make Gowvage happen. Gow might also reveal her powers and/or have some sort of memory loss. A possible solution to the curse could be to help Mobians believe in the gods again so they can fully return.

In my opinion, the second proposal seems better, but that's just me. I like lore. 🤷🏼♀
I can elaborate more, or on others, too.
