Chapter 4 The Mortician's Daughter

I watched batman with Andy, the guys, and with Eve. We watched for a little bit, but then it got a little boring. I could tell Eve was getting a little bored as well. She looked at me with a bored face.
I did a fake yawn and said:

"If its ok with you Andy, I'm gonna go to bed. I'm kinda tired..."

"Me too..." Eve also did a fake yawn and looked at me and winked.

I knew just what she wanted. She wanted to cuddle with me and watch a movie of our own. We didn't wanna tell Andy that we were bored of batman, so we kinda just pranked him.
Andy said:

"Ok, but I wish you would stay and watch with me, but since you're tired, I have no control over that. Good night then..."

"Night..." I said.

"Night..." Eve replied.

We went I to a bedroom. I'm guessing its her bedroom. She chamged into her pjs and layed down. I did the same. I asked her:

"Wanna watch a movie?"

"Sure, whatcha wanna watch?" She responded.

"Idk, what do you wanna watch."

"Idk... how about not batman... sorry Andy..." she answered back.

I chuckled, sighed and got out Paul Blart Mall Cop. Eve loves this movie. Its comedy movie, with a romance twist on it. I put in the disc and pressed "play". We got about halfway through the movie when I noticed that Eve fell asleep while I was hugging her and her head was on my chest. After the movie was done, I turned off the tv and the disc player, then slept next to her that cold, calm, and peaceful night.

The Next Morning

I woke up next to her. Eve's eyes slowly opening, I greeted her with a smile and a kiss on the cheek and said:

"Morning..."

She smiled and looked into my eyes. Her sterling grey ones, into my brown ones. Her eyes made me.feel calm, and yet feeling needed. We both got up, and went to her kitchen. I sat down on the recliner, only to find her laying on my chest, looking at me again. With those fearful, peaceful,lifeless grey eyes of hers.
