welcome my fellow joel miller obsessors!
I'm really happy to be writing this fic because they're doesn't seem to be that many on here :((
okay just a few things before we get into it:
• joel will be aged down slightly (50) just because it makes the age gap a little more comfortable (39)
• this will be following the tv show but i will be adding some of my own scenes just to bulk it up a bit.
• this is a post apocalyptic fanfic so they're will be some triggering topics e.g. graphic violence, suicidal ideation, talks of malnutrition (due to apocalyptic life style) and so forth. i will put warnings at the beginning of the chapters i feel are particularly triggering.
• this will be slow-burn!!! joel is such a closed off person due to his trauma so it's so unlikely he'd just jump into any form of romance. not to mention that my oc is also a very traumatised. (oops i live for writing angst.)
• the prologue will cover the important parts of my oc's back story but they're will be multiple flash backs and mentions of it so if that's not your thing = 🚪
