A/N - I apologize for disappearing, I was busy with uhh life, I'm back. So, strong angst again. OK BTW THIS IS WHERE A STORY FAN FICTION STARTS!! (Very short)

"Claire?"

Claire had stopped to her tracks to look at Rae, who was smiling. For some reason, it looked forced. Claire narrowed her eyes around Rae to examine any differences, according to Claire, the only difference was Rae's smile that looked forced. She did not know how she had noticed, but she didn't wanna mention it.

"What do you want, commoner? And where's the respect! Miss Claire is preffered."

Her grumpiness tone had made a response to Rae's reach, in the outside she wore an expression that was hiding in the inside that she was worried for why Rae's smile looked forced, and that all of the sudden she had called out to her.

"I'm sorry. I won't serve you anymore."

"What?"

Claire had tightened her grip at this point, questions were anxiously spreading in her head. She needed to know the reason, no boat should sail away without the captains order. Claire thought of that. Claire, who was well aware of the situation immediately jumped to her distinct advantage of her mean attitude to make Rae take her words back.

"And why must you do that, commoner? It's not like i--"

Claire was cut of, before she finished the touches of her sentence.

"It's because you keep hurting my feelings, Miss Claire."

Claire felt a needle stab her heart mentally, directly silencing her immediately. She didn't know enough that she was hurting Rae's feelings, but how? Questions swarmed her mind again, but why? She didn't know.

Claire felt her surroundings crumble, why did she feel like this? Another question. But no answer attended, not even herself can answer, she felt warm tears forming, as she realised that. She held them, preventing them from dropping.

"Commoner. I have no idea what I did to hurt you."

It was true, yes, Claire was clueless about how she hurt Rae. Was it physically? Mentally? Possible answers were popping in Claire's mind, but she herself wasn't sure. But, she was nervous too about the answer coming from Rae herself. She took a deep breath to prepare herself mentally for the awaited answer.

"Everytime I'm with you, you always seem to go near Manaria-sama, no? And you have mentioned that you would pick her in a heartbeat. It hurt me, but I wanted you happy."

Rae was sheepishly smiling while saying her statement, Claire's eyes widened. Everything fell silent. She felt her hands shake, so she balled her hands in a tight fist.

She argued herself to apologize to the commoner, but no noble should do that. As, well. Nobles and Commoners are different. That was the society, as it is.

Finally, she had decided to apologize. But before she did, Rae has vanished into thin air.

Claire's anger and guilt had taken over her, and demanded herself to find Rae and apologize. But before she had made her moves, Manaria had appeared out of thin air and went on to grip onto Claire's shoulders, facing each other.

"My my ~ Claire, you look upset.. Perhaps something has happened?"

Manaria, which is Claire-sama's childhood best friend who Claire saw as an older sister forged a tone of softness to attempt to comfort Claire.

"I- Sister.. Nothing.. It's just that, that commoner just left it's master without it's permission."

Manaria sighed, loosing her grip to Claire's shoulder to place it at the edge of a bridge's fence.

"You mustn't worry, Claire. She is just a waste of time, no?"

".. I guess.. She is.."

Claire agreed.
