-Yes... yes, I have everything, don't worry

Jisung continued talking on the phone with his father, who called him immediately upon landing in Korea.

-Okay, I have to finish now, I'm just arriving at the apartment

-Oh, alright, I just have one more thing for you when you go out tomorrow, remember to buy flowers, you know which ones, okay?

-Of course, Dad. Bye, Dad, I love you, I'll try to call you soon

Call ended

"Soon," probably means that Jisung shouldn't expect calls from him for the next month.

The teenager stared at the screen of his phone for a moment longer, until the taxi driver informed him that they had arrived. So, he paid and thanked the man before getting out of the car, not forgetting to take his suitcase from the trunk.

And when he had everything, he glanced at the number on the note before heading to the designated place.

Time skip...

-Finally!

the boy exclaimed when he finally arrived at his new apartment. The journey may not have been the longest, but after a 6-hour flight, everything was exhausting for Jisung. What's worse, during his journey, he passed by the new school building, and just the thought that he would have to go there every day in a few days made him feel even worse. Plus, there was that park where he had the feeling of being watched, but then he figured it was probably just his imagination. The teenager complained for a while before finally deciding to eat something after such a long day. He randomly played a playlist on YouTube, then checked the fridge, hoping that his father, after his last visit where he finalized the paperwork related to the apartment, left something to eat. And luckily for him, there were enough groceries there for him to cook something.

In this way, Jisung filled his stomach in no time, with music playing in the background.

"The best combination," crossed his mind.

And just as he was about to take the last bite of his food, a melody reached his ears that he heard for the first time but immediately liked. So, as he returned after washing the dishes and the song was coming to an end, he decided to do something that would probably make him tired of this song soon, but screw it, it was awesome now.

So he clicked on a few things until he saw the option that interested him.

He was about to click on it, but just before he did, a certain thought came to his mind, as if that one option perfectly defined how his life had looked all these years. It was as if someone just clicked on it eight years ago, and he started to be stuck in this uninterrupted cycle, over and over again. The teenager smiled sadly at himself and his rather interesting comparison, maybe someday he could weave it into one of his songs, who knows.

For now...

"Let's start over again..."

And so, once again, the melody of the song reached the boy's ears, which would now repeat over and over again, unless someone turned it off.

...looping in a loop.
