~Flynn's POV~
"So then I said 'Bish, is you blind?'" Tyler waved his hand sassily in the air, sending us all into another fit of laughter at his story.
"Did you really say that to her?" Zoe gasped.
"Flynn," he looked at me with his eyebrows raised.
"He really did," I giggled. "I thought they were gonna fight, I was cheering him on like 'Yeah beat her ass Tyler'!" I shouted, sending them into even more fits.
"So then what happened?" Asked Alfie.
Tyler started to continue with his story but I zoned out, staring down at my pasta and thinking about a certain someone sitting across from me. I looked up to see him laughing along with the group.
Caspar was extremely attractive, there was no doubt there, but there was something different about him, something that drew me in. I wanted to be around him, because just being in his presence was enough to make me feel this foreign way.
Suddenly, his head snapped in my direction and I realized I had been staring. I didn't want to look away though. A million thoughts raced through my mind as our eyes interlocked and my insides were set on fire at his gaze.
I continued to stare, thinking about last night and wondering if he was too. His face flushed a pretty pink and he looked back to the group. I went back to my plate and awkwardly picked at my food.
"Didn't I Flynn?" Tyler asked from across the table.
"Wha- oh yeah! You sure did," I laughed, even though I had no idea what he was talking about anymore.
"I'm going to the bathroom," I whispered to Zoe. She nodded and followed me across the café.
"What's going on between you and Caspar?" She questioned not a moment after we had reached the restroom.
"What do you mean," I smirked.
"You know exactly what I mean!" She loudly whispered. "The looks you're giving each other and the thing that happened last night what was that all about?"
"I'm not sure... but I kinda like it," I blushed.
Her mouth fell open as she gasped and gaped at my comment.
"What!?" I giggled. "He's cute."
"You are insane! You fancy Caspar!?" She asked in disbelief.
"I don't know, why? Is that bad?" I asked.
"Well..." she paused. "I don't know I just never thought that you two would ever... I don't know, never mind."
"Hell no what were you going to say?" I hated when people did that.
"It's nothing it's just you two both have really strong personalities, I mean you are both really outspoken. And Flynn you are a leader."
"So?" I still didn't understand what the big deal was.
"Well Caspar usually goes for more docile girls, he likes wearing the pants if you know what I mean. He can't stand being called whipped or anything like that. He is the one who usually controls most of the relationship." her voice was low now.
I didn't speak for a minute, trying to gather the messages Zoe was desperately trying to send me.
"Zoe... we are not dating. I doubt we ever will. I mean he lives a thousand miles away. I don't think it's that big of a deal," I said calmly.
She paused and stared me down for longer than comfortable before finally responding.
"Yeah, you're right. I just got a little worried," she sighed.
