~Flynn's POV~

I softly stroked Charles' fur as he purred into my lap. His white tufts shuffled through my fingers as I scrolled through Pinterest on my laptop.

His head shot straight up when the doorbell rang, waking us from our relaxing daze. I scooped him up and walked across the room to the door.

I gazed through the peephole to see none other than Caspar Lee. I quickly opened the door to let him in.

"Hi Caspar how ya doing?" I smiled politely, still holding the fluff tucked into my arms.

"Hi," he smiled shyly. "I think I left my phone here earlier. I'm sorry for dropping in so suddenly."

"Oh no you're fine. I had no idea you left it I would've brought it over. I never heard it," I motioned for him to come inside. He stepped in and scanned the apartment.

"Oh here it is," Caspar stepped over to a chair and picked up the shiny object.

"Oh good," I sat Charles back down on he couch . " Why don't you sit and stay awhile I have lemonade in the fridge," I offered politely.

"Oh no I hate to just drop in-"

"No! It's totally fine I love to have guests," I interrupted and went into the kitchen to pour the drinks.

"Well thank you," he blushed. "What's your cat's name?"

"Charles Pickens," I laughed.

He giggled lightly, "is there a reason why?"

"I had a very strong passion for literature as a child and he was and is a very picky eater. So Charles Pickens was the obvious name choice." I grinned at the horrible pun as I poured the lemonade into two glasses.

He hooted and reached over to stroke the Feline lazily laying on the couch,
"Obviously."

"Here you go," I walked back into the living room and handed him his glass.

He nodded in thanks and took a sip.

"It's raspberry by the way," I added in just in case he was allergic to raspberries too. You never know.

"It's really good," he smiled.

"So, any plans for while y'all are here?" I asked and took another sip.

"Not really, we've been around this area so many times its almost like a second home. We kinda just wing it." he paused and starred down at his lap.
"I was actually hoping maybe you and me could hang out sometime."

He looked up at me with a visibly forced smirk in attempt to look cool.

I giggled. "Caspar I would love to."

He looked relieved, "that's great I was thinking maybe we could go to the beach? You know catch that chance before it gets too cold?"

"That would be lovely. When should we go?" I asked, still smiling.

"Tomorrow? I'm free are you?"

"Yes all day," I exclaimed.

"Great, well I better get going. I'll pick you up tomorrow," he started to get up.

"Oh wait let me give you my number," I stopped him and walked over to exchange numbers.

"Here," I handed him back his phone.

"I'll see you tomorrow," he smiled down at me.

"See you tomorrow," I beamed back up at him.

He walked out of the room and I slowly closed the door behind him. And once he was gone... I squealed like a fangirl.
