It all started with an egg...
On a stormy night with howling winds and twisted skies...on the dreary loneliness of a deserted oak garden...on the historic twilight of Kaleidian history's timeline...Azura and Ozuro, the great deities, clashed with their unlimited powers in a fight for the life of a gryphon.
"A Hieru is born from an egg laid by a rooster under the starlight of the Dog Star, Sirius, and hatched by a dragon's breath under the moonlight of a Blue Moon after a century inside an oak tree and guarded by a hermit druid..."
That was how he was born. That was exactly how Waurlaik was born. A Hieru by blood, by lineage and by magic. He was a miracle to the land of Kaleideis for it has been 400 years since the last Hieru was known to have walked in the land. There are seven of them now.
Mhagnous Hieru came 1000 years ago. He planted the Great Tree (or currently known as the Tree of Mhagnous) to protect Kaleideis, hold the land together by rooting down to all its regions and in order to preserve the dying magic of the land. He had the ability of creation.
Waesir Hieru came 900 years ago. He is the Great Prophet and the wisest in the history of Kaleideis. He predicted the threatening future of the land and saw the disasters it will bring. It was believed that he sent a guardian to the future to protect the Kaleidians once the catastrophes arise. But many myths are mere legends. He has the ability to gather information.
Viktorius Hieru came 800 years ago. In his time rose the Lotus War between Kaleideis and Arubia, the land of the exiled, the primitive and the unknown creatures. He was known as the ultimate key in winning the war and earning a treaty between the two continents. It was believed that he destroyed a hundred thousand Arubians alone. He has the ability of magnification.
Breyv Hieru came 700 years ago. Once, the diety Bum'kazak got so furious about the imbalanced corruption that was taking place in Aidengard that he decided to destroy it. But with full courage, Breyv sacrificed himself in replacement for the destruction of Aidengard. This event made Aidengard the central region of Kaleideis and its capital. He has the ability to control absence.
Vhalyent Hieru came 600 years ago. He united all the regions of Kaleideis officially and ended the Kaleidian Civil War. He established a code of conduct and other social etiquettes for peace and harmony across the land. He became Kaleideis' very first supreme monarch. He has the ability to control attraction.
Aansung Hieru came about 500 years ago. He was forgotten for some deeper reasons. No recordings or clues of his existence except his name was ever recorded or found.
Waurlaik Hieru is the present day Hieru. And he is yet to prove himself as a true part of the royal lineage where he must leave a grand legacy to the history of Kaleideis. He has the ability ot control vectors.
Since Mhagnous' time, the Hierus have been preserving their lineage by making sure that requirements are met to make way for the birth of the next Hieru. But while Vhalyent was ready for the final preparations of the Hieru succeeding him, a spell was invoked that erased the memory about the egg and Vhalyent's corpse was found at the northern shores of the Great Lake three days after the incident.. A hundred years later, Aansung came who was thought to have been successfully made by Vhalyent, but recordings were unsure until he suddenly vanished...
For centuries, no Hieru came. Hope was slowly diminishing in the heart of the land. But then, everything went perfectly well, and in sheer luck, Waurlaik hatched.
It was on that gloomy, stormy night where everything all began. It was Aefontaf, the hermit druid, who found the egg. It was in the deserted oak garden South of Daiasgard. For decades he guarded the egg like his own son who died in a plague that ravaged the land 150 years ago. He took the egg under his care and kept it hidden among the oaks of the garden. It was his lifelong special treasure.
But, in the majestic region of the Sky Realm, the region of the divine beings, a dispute was taking place. It was Azura, the Queen of Life, and Ozuro, the Lord of Death, who quarreled over a baby gryphon. For Azura insisted that life must be offered to the infant beast who now was deprived of a mother, killed by the jaws of a hungry dragon. Ozuro, saw death on the eyes of the gryphon and claimed that it should die that instant! The quarrel extended far beyond the single argument and opened up many personal dislikes between the twins. Thus, a fight broke out. Ozuro's rage allowed him to release a powerful fireblast which meant to destroy Azura. The Queen defended herself with a responding blast. The strength of the two deities collided and created a massive channel of power that opened a small portal to Kaleideis. Some of the remnants of the fireblast reached the Kaleidian realm generating a horrific storm that shook the central part of Kaleideis. And from the sky, a beam of intense divine flare struck the deserted oak garden killing Aefontaf instantly and from the egg emerged Waurlaik.
This is the start of his great adventure. A journey that would take him to the highest realms of Kaleideis and learn its deepest secrets. Whatever lies in that unknown void is yet to be unlocked.
This is the beginning. A beginning that all started with an egg...
