Hey, I'm Delilah Comstock. Lilah for short. I'm Dave's niece. I work with Dave at his shop, in the mornings I work in the office but after lunch, he has me in the shop with him. My uncle means a lot to me, he and my aunt took me in when my parents moved and I didn't wanna leave. I have lived with Dave since I was in grade school. In many ways, people mistake Dave for my father but I really don't mind it at all. Besides, I went to him for everything because he don't  judge me, I think that is why I feel closer to him. There's actually something I have not told him. I haven't told him that my boyfriend and I have started fighting. We fight late at night. At the end of each fight, I have been winding up in Brandon, Monza's sons bed. It is hard to just leave Samson. We have different fights, some nights, he doesn't allow me to go to race night so I have to find an excuse to tell Dave. Brandon helps calm me down. Nothing bad has happened. We don't kiss or even snuggle. He just kisses my head and tells me that things will be okay. Dave can tell when I have been stressed with Samson and, he kisses my head too but, it's different with him and Brandon. Brandon and I have not ever dated each other but, we have always been close with one another.

I'm walking into the shop and right away Dave gave me a look.

"Lilah, what's wrong?" Dave asks as I set down my purse into a locker. I locked it up and let out a sigh before turning around and leaning against the lockers. I looked up at my uncle and he made a face.

"Got into it with Sammy about this weekend." I admit.

"Did he not know about race night?" He asks as he crosses his arms.

"He did. He always does. He had made last minute plans and I turned them down since I missed race night last weekend." I explain.

He let out a sigh, looked out the shop door to the rainy day and then looked back at me.

"Did he yell at you?" He asks calm.

"He did." I say looking down.

"Maybe the two of you need a break or see someone that could help." He says sadly.

"I'm not sure what needs to happen. We just need to talk." I say.

"I agree. I know that he loves you Lilah." He says.

"I love him too. Something has gotta give Davy." I say really sad.
