ZELLAH rolled over to her side. She picked her phone off of one of Sarah's nightstands. She blinked a couple times before her eyes focused on her notifications.

Instead she scrolled onto her messages app. She hadn't spoken to Ryan in a day. Which wouldn't be unusual to others but it was unusual to her since he would always text her good morning.

Truth is, he was just doing some voluntary beach clean up along with Sarah,Topper, Kelce and other kooks. Zellah planned on attending but she honestly didn't feel up to it.

Which Sarah was taken by surprise with the sleepyhead went back to sleep instead of joining her. Everyone knows Zellah loves the ocean. She adores it, she calls the ocean her mother. Strange, but you get used to it around Zellah.

Sarah knew Zellah was most likely still upset about current events, so she didn't mind.

She decided to text Ryan first. 'Good morning.' She texted him.

She was gonna wait at her screen until she heard a knock at the door. "Yeah?"

The door creaked open and out stood Ward. "Hey time to get up." He spoke as he slipped his hands into the pockets of his pants. "Can't sleep all day."

Zellah glanced towards Sarah's alarm clock that read '11:30' am. She really, really slept in. "I know, I'm up. I just couldn't sleep—last night."

Ward nodding, taking her circumstances into consideration. "You know you couldn't slept in a guest?"

Zellah knew that well. But she knew this wasn't a long stay, more like a long sleepover. She felt deep down her mother didn't mean her words. 'My mother needs me, she'll beg me back' Zellah had explained to Sarah last night.
