I realized I was an hour late I am sorry for that, BUT! I have the story here
I do plan on finishing the new chapter for OBoTY, don't worry! Like I said I never abandoned, just hit a block with uni.
Anyways, enjoy some cloudy comfort fluff before I hit you with another wave of ✨pain with macaque✨If Sandy ever said he's heard good songs before, then he was lying.
He had spent the day with Mei after Mk finally got his date with Redson, and Pigsy has been planning his Valentine night out with Tang for weeks now. The girl was so happy for the couples, not caring if she didn't have one of her own to spend her own days with. So long as she had her sword and none of her favorite shops were closed, she was okay.
The blue demon only agreed to join her little journey in the city because he couldn't find a certain shadow monkey. He wasn't sure why, but no matter where Sandy looked, he couldn't find Macaque anywhere. He wasn't in bed, the cat piles all over the boat, the shadow play theater. Not even the Great Sage Equal to Heaven saw him today, though that was mostly because Wukong was more interested in napping the day away than actually spending it to know if Macaque ever actually visited the mountain, and none of the monkeys seemed to see the little shadow demon either.
Sandy still enjoyed the time he had with Mei and Mo. He learned after a while it was better to appreciate what you have in the present than complain about what you want in the future. Besides, it wouldn't surprise him if Macaque didn't want to spend the special day with him like most lovers did. He needed his own space, and Sandy wouldn't push him if he wanted it today.
When he came back to the pier though, he was sure enough surprised. At the docks, there was a flower petal trail leading to who knows where, and had small candles on each pillar. In the distance, the three of them could see Pigsy and Tang at the start of the trail. The two were smiling happily - well, Tang was. Pigsy... eh, not so much.
The two waved at Sandy and Mei once they were close enough. "Took you two long enough," Pigsy huffed and crossed his arms. Tang nudged his husband, before beaming at Sandy. "Glad to see you could make it, Sandy!" He pulled out a small cue card and began to recite his script. "Welcome weary traveler. Your trip across the ocean of love will depart soon, so follow this path I have built for you, along with your . . . Wonderful companions who helped me create this scenery for you."
Sandy looked at Tang in surprise, before turning his attention to Mei. Was she expecting someone?
Mei only giggled and pushed Sandy forward. "Enjoy your night big guy! Tell me all the details tomorrow, okay?" She laughed and walked away with the couple off the docks. Sandy was even more puzzled. So . . . Mei didn't have a date?
Mo let out a small meow and jumped off of Sandy's shoulder, opting to walk beside his companion instead. Sandy watched the feline scamper off across the trail, and decided to follow. What was the harm anyways?
The scenery was indeed beautiful, with the evening light spilling onto the ocean like flour spread on a countertop, only this looked far more pleasing than that. Sandy could hear his therapy cats mewling and playing with each other in the distance, and chuckled when he saw a small pile of kittens surrounding a small girl in the path. Bai he.
"Oh! Mr. Sandy, you're here!" Bai he lit up when she saw Sandy, and giggled. "I'm glad to see you again!"
